Mr. Jessie Ray Cole, age 87, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2004. He was born on November 28, 1916 in Paulding Co. to the late William and Alma Cole. He was a retired dairy farmer and was a member of White Oak Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Boyd and Judy Cole of Dallas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth Evans of Marietta, Edna and Wyatt Lee of Austell, Reba and Jack Ellison of Greensboro, GA and Faye (Tiny) and Roger Sauls of Dallas; grandchildren, Jimmy Cole, Fonda Cole, Mandy Ploof and Tracy Clay; six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 1, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. from White Oak Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Byrd officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA in charge of arrangements.
