Its usually the heel spur that causes the plantar facititis. I agree ^ and I doubt that he had it busted up -I think if they are so bad they will surgically remove them. I think her hubby probably had a shot and he felt like he was hit with a hammer my hubby had a shot as well and then lucked out by chasing the dog and breaking the heel spur

My hubby "accidentally" broke his off chasing our dog and hasnt had any problems since.

It has been horrible this year! Thanks to the mild winter and the very wet summer they are in abundance ! I have had the yard professionally treated and inside the house as well and i had to treat the inside dogs for the firt time in years this year. I used frontline, didn't work, k-9 advantix, didn't work finally comfortis worked. K -9 advantix worked on the outside dogs. Finally we can go outside without being covered up
