I think this is a case of following through with good intentions but bad execution from mom.

well....i'm giving my 2 cents .... My kids go to Poole so I'm VERY familiar with the area.....she "the female ADULT" was stoopid for making this kid walk in this area that far. I threatened my 7 year old this morning with having to walk to school....he missed the bus and caused his brother to miss the bus as well....now the difference here...He would have only walked to the top of our subdivision....not out on a MAIN roadway. and I would have made him walk on the sidewalk with me driving right next to him. Not a bull, but when I was in middle school my dad and another vehicle with a woman and her 3 older children were in a wreck when 3 horses ran out in front of both of them at the same time. My dad was headed south and the family was headed north..my dad's car struck the mare and the families car struck the Gelding...my dad's car was totaled and he had minor scrapes and cuts from the windshield shattering. The woman driver of the other car had severe lacerations to her face, broken arm, and a broken collar bone, but her oldest son, who was 16 at the time, suffered the worst. The horse landed
