  1. Thanks to everyone for the info. I now have a place to start!
  2. I am trying to help someone obtain military records for their family member. He has had a stoke and unable to provide information. Anyone know of someone local that could help or give us any info..
  3. We had our unit serviced this week. Boy it works GREAT now, almost like a new unit. We had to readjust the temp. Thanks for the wonderful service.
  4. The whole family wants to let you know how much we love you and to WISH you A Happy Birthday !!!!!!
  5. See if this sounds similar: Lemon Mayonnaise Sauce 1 cup mayonnaise 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley I usually leave out the parsley and use fresh Thyme, dill or Rosemary instead depending on what I'm using it with. I have also added chopped jalapeno, minced garlic, ground cayenne or whatever whim I had at the time. Originally I made it with egg yolks, oil, etc. before I realised I was just making mayo. It works well warm or cold; with meats or vegetables; salads or sandwh
  6. I can highly recommend Deborah Matthew-McCormick. She truly delivered for me. I have not been in touch with her for several years, but she gave me the tools I needed to cope and I am by no means an easy patient. I know she has a website. Check her out. http://www.myspace.com/516077963
  7. I know they LOVE to have someone come in and do their nails.
  8. I think it would be a great idea. The only reservation I have is that if the Religious forum gets as nasty as the political forum used to get, you would probably have to double Mayberry's Force to keep the cafe readable to the general public. JMHO
  9. If this is true, I think that should be documented. Per above post: Either way, money and labor were solicited based specifically on the Battle family's story. As such, I think the contract should be honored unless Homesforourtroops can produce documentation of willful fraud. JMHO, but I think it only reasonable that some things would change from the mid 2008 selection date and the mid 2009 completion date. I belive it is fairly obvious niether of these Georgia homes were purchased as a primary residence for a man that has "several" more years of rehab and surgeries in the DC
  10. I disagree. If this hero was truthful with his information on the application, his investments (smart or not) of the $100,000 dollars should not enter into the matter. The FP did not necessarily misadvise him. Mr. Battle and family did not have a home, but a home was being built for him. The very fact that Mr. Battle's medical care requires him to remain in the DC area for 'several years' tells me the properties are indeed investment in nature and not personal residences. According to the Homesforourtroops website: [b]Homes for Our Troops is a non-profit, non-partisan, 501 ©(3) or
