Not a funny ... but a real story.  It appears our great leader is wanting to transform the Internet so that the FTC and FCC can stop large sites that discriminate against all the conservative posters who know that hate speech is really not hate speech, it is conservatism and conservatism is the only truth.

    Do I exaggerate?

PS:  The effort seems to come from an Executive order (Kings edict) and it will effect the way the government interprets section 230 of the DMCA to limit the right of website owners to moderate sites that accept user content.  Gizmodo, (source of the link) says if the draft EO is adopted, it will 'break the internet' ... making for a new test of the concept that anything Donald touches dies.  Heck, there is a book about that. and you can get as a free audiobook

I thought posts about national politics were no longer allowed?

  2. I'll try to be positive in this post....

The first step in fixing any problem is admitting that there is a problem. Paulding.com has a problem. The posting activity has decreased dramatically over the last few years. That's the problem. This isn't a secret. All one has to do is look at all the forums with no new posts in years to see the lack of active threads.

There are different viewpoints on the reasons for this decline but there doesn't appear to be any cold hard proof that one viewpoint is right. The way to find the root cause of the problem is to get feedback from people that are affected by the problem. Ignoring or hiding feedback that isn't positive just makes the problem worse.

Can paulding.com get back to it's former glory days? Maybe...it's going to be tough in the world we live in now with alternatives like Facebook, NextDoor, DallasHwy, Twitter, etc. But paulding.com certainly has a better chance if open feedback is not only allowed but encouraged.

Are you denying the Pentagon cannot account for trillions ( trillions with a T) of taxpayer dollars ?

I don't know how much the Pentagon can't account for but I do know they haven't lost $21 trillion. I saw that story when it came out and did research to find out it is a bogus claim. Looks like you didn't care enough about the truth to do the same when you heard that story. Remaining ignorant about such claims is a choice.

You're right Cp30 it's all fake news, Mexico is paying for the wall Trump has not added 2 trillion dollars to the national debt, he has accomplished more in two years than any president in our history, Putin is our friend, the Saudi Prince did not have a guy sawed in half and some fat guy did indeed hack our elections from his mama's basement.

Oh yea Trump's inauguration, biggest turn out in our nation's history.

    MAGA !

Now you are just posting stuff to take the focus off the fact you believed the $21 trillion story. Sad!

The Pentagon Doesn’t Know Where Its Money Goes

The military finally submits to an audit, and the results are poor.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/01/opinion/sunday/pentagon-spending-audit-failed.html

A trillion here a trillion there pretty soon you're talking about real money.

There is no doubt that the Pentagon and most any govt entity is bad an managing money. They have no incentive to do it right. And liberals like you would like to make the fed govt pay for all healthcare. Any idea how much money would get lost if that were the case?

You clearly believed the stupid $21 trillion story just like AOC. That says something about both of you.

  6. Paranoid schizophrenia would be my guess.

That's why them always calling us "Trump lovers" just because we don't share their hate for him is so stupid. To them, it's either hate the guy or love the guy; there's no middle ground.

My intellect and sense of fairness is better than that.

Agreed. My opinions of Trump are in many posts on this site and many, perhaps most, of those opinions are negative. But yet, I am apparently one of his followers "that will blindly follow their leader to hell and back" and "shove whole families into gas chambers, fly suicide missions into aircraft carriers and starve millions in labor camps."

    Again, Cain is an idiot.

  7. Some of you will be surprised to learn that cptlo was an adamant Never Trumper.

To the dismay of many of my conservative friends. :)

I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 and I'm not sure I'll vote for him in 2020. I know for a fact I won't vote for the democrat socialist nominee.

Of all the crap used to defend the "stable genius" we have in the WH that one is the worst. Hitler was the president of Germany, how many Jews do you suppose ever said "well,he is the president" ? Of course in every society there plenty of folks like you that blindly follow their leader to hell and back. They shove whole families into gas chambers, fly planes loaded with H.E. into aircraft carriers and starve millions in work camps.

Yea Trump's the president so trucking what ?

You are an idiot. Yes, that is an insult and it is warranted.

  9. Believe it? I have trouble understanding his rambling, circular doublespeak. If he cared enough to pay attention to what he says, no doubt he would have trouble understanding it, too.

It is rather silly to suggest that people YOU don't know personally feel hate toward someone THEY don't know personally. There are either many who don't really know what hate is, or don't possess the vocabulary to use a more appropriate term. There are plenty others to pick from: displeased, appalled, embarrassed, confused, suspicious, ashamed, disgusted and yes, angry, to name a few.

I don't know Trump, nor do I care enough about him to hate him although I have not ever particularly liked him. My opinion of him is based on the fact that he is a serial adulterer, his business ethics and practices questionable at best, he is blatantly dishonest, hypocritical, and lacks self-restraint. We don't even know if he pays his income taxes. We do know he doesn't always pay others to whom he owes money.

His only concern is his ego and the image he projects. He will never put the country ahead of himself.

What, besides his anti-immigration stance, are all these good ideas of which y'all speak?

I agree with many of the things you wrote about Trump. He's definitely a shady character...no question. He's also the President of the United States.

His immigration stance is anti-illegal immigration as should be case for everyone. Other good ideas....tax cuts, cutting regulations, and SCOTUS picks.
