  1. The Americans Who Risked Everything Rush Limbaugh III My father, Rush H. Limbaugh, Jr., delivered this oft-requested address locally a number of times, but it had never before appeared in print until it appeared in The Limbaugh Letter. My dad was renowned for his oratory skills and for his original mind; this speech is, I think, a superb demonstration of both. I will always be grateful to him for instilling in me a passion for the ideas and lives of America's Founders, as well as a deep appreciation for the inspirational power of words which you will see evidenced here: "O
  2. FREE --- OVER 1500 PARKING SPOTS WITHIN 2 BLOCKS OF THE MARIETTA SQUARE . With the completion of the second parking deck in Marietta there are plenty of parking spaces IN THE SHADE. Problem is – they are on the east side of the square and are hard for Paulding friends to get to when the square is cutting off the flow of traffic. Both decks are free from Friday 5:PM to Monday 7:AM AND HOLIDAYS. They are located on the NE corner of the square. Problem is, you can't get to it easily because all the streets between it and Dallas are shut down for all the street vendors. Easy way
  3. Did the First Baptist Church sell and move. For years the story I heard was that the beer would be to close to the church property. If that law was re-written did they also change the law forbidding bicycles and scooters from being downtown and locked to the "bike posts" which were installed when the square was improved and the no-fountain fountain was built. Way to go Sal's!!!!!! So happy to see you outlasted whoever it was that would not let you have pouring license for how many years now ----- too many.
  4. Knowing a number of the cast and crew, I promise, you will have the most laughs and fun in Dallas that you have had in years. We at the Paulding County Historical Society promise you not only a super evening at this event , but we will use the proceeds to once again have a history museum with great programs for adults and children which teach the history of our community.
