I enjoy the outdoors. I would love to one day move up to the mountains. I also enjoy arts and crafts festivals. I am an outdoors type of person.
  1. The food part. Oh yeah you will learn real quick what foods go straight through your system.
  2. I believe that they do this outpatient, because someone I grew up with had hers out last week. It was done outpatient. I had to spend time in the hospital, but mainly due to an infection spreading from my gall bladder to my liver. My case was pretty bad. My husband had to spend 5 days in the hospital, but this is because they had to cut him the old fashioned way. His gall bladder was so bad, that Dr. Wu did a 6 inch incision to get it out. After surgery you are going to be sore. I had a drainage tube for a few days. Since I was in the hospital he took it out the day that I went home. They will

    FYI

You should see what these idiots do over on Thornton Rd. You know how if you are coming down Thornton Rd/278 from Hiram going towards I-20? Well you have to be in the 2 right hand lanes to get onto I-20 west or east? People will be in the far left lane and immediately cut off cars to swirve over to get onto I-20 OR they will make a left hand turn onto I-20 on the bridge over I-20 when there are clear as day signs showing NO left turn right there and the other signs saying to be in that right hand lane for I-20 east. You then have the idiots who are coming off of I-20 east and turning right ont

    FYI

That's illegal to do too. I looked it up online recently, because it came up in a discussion on facebook. Traffic is an absolute nightmare too right now. Fed ex rig blocking all but 1 lane of 285 N right before the ramp to get onto I-20 W.
  5. It looks like it's over for all of us. Now everything is just south of Atlanta. Luckily it didn't get bad here like it did in Alabama yesterday.
  6. Confederate railroad concert moved to this Thursday, due to them closing this Sat. I got an invite to the closing night on FB.
  7. I noticed. I could get ramen noodles 10 for $1.00 not too long ago. Not anymore. I think they are around 5 for $1.00 now. I dread winter time. My heat is gas, and they are saying the rates will be even higher this yr. Paying the bills last winter were hard enough. I live in an older brick home with single pane windows. We cover the windows in the winter, but that still isn't enough. I also can't believe how much sugar has gone up. I make a lot of sweet tea in my household. I buy the store brand. Just a few months ago I could get the store brand around $1.79 a bag. Now even the store brand is
  8. I hear ya on that one. Maybe I can pull those jeans back out of the boxes that I outgrew. Well I out expanded them I should say. lol
  9. I have several friends who are bus drivers, and my Moms best friend has been driving a bus(special ed students) for 30 yrs now. I could not do the job that they do, because I know that I could not deal with 60 kids talking at once. From my understanding the accident in Douglasville yesterday was at the fault of the bus driver for blocking a main road. She was blocking the west bound lane of Bankhead as she was stopped at the railroad tracks, and someone who saw it happen said she pulled out in front of the truck and just stopped. He couldn't stop in time, and hit the side of the bus. No kids
  10. One in College Park today as well.
  11. The puppet master now controls NPR. That's what I call Soros.
  12. Now that is just ridiculous right there. I have found that on certain items food depot still has good prices compared to other grocery stores. I will buy a box of 30 frozen sausage patties there for like $4.00. Still only $4.40 when you add their 10%. I then buy the large bags of frozen biscuits and only fix enough at a time for us to eat. I can't afford to do the bacon, eggs, grits, gravy and homemade biscuits like I use to make every weekend.
  13. I have cut back until I can't cut back anymore. I went to buy groceries Monday. The only little extra thing that I bought was some donuts marked down for the kids. I spent $168. I didn't buy any junk at all either, other than those donuts for $1.50. I am now buying more frozen entrees than fresh meats, because the price of meats keeps going up.
  14. My yuban coffee went up over $1.00 the past 3 weeks. It was around $3.74, and now it is $4.94. Heck at this rate we'll all be living off of ramen noodles soon. Gas keeps going up and now food. People are struggling in many cases to make ends meet as it is.
  15. For some reason I find him rather hot. lol I will have to check this show out. I was thinking more along the lines of his version of "Play that funky music". I admit I have his music on the I-pod as well. I just listened to "stop that train" earlier.
