  1. Thanking you all for your input. I will pass along to the wife who will share them with our neighbor. Anyone else?
  2. My neighbor is getting married and needs a place for her reception. 40 people. Budget is not huge so nothing extravagant. Happening in 1 month. Suggestions?
  3. Where can I find a competitive youth basketball league for my 7 y.o. son? He played upward one year and the instruction was pretty bad. I'm not hating on all Upward programs. Just want to go a different route. Also, via Google, I found a 2008 thread from paulding.com that stated that basketball in the county is not much to cheer about. I remember a mom from spring baseball said that one of the Cobb county H.S. either Harrison or Hillgrove (I get them mixed up) had a good youth feeder program. Anyone know anything about that or something else competitive? I just want some good coac
  4. You guys are great. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. I'll either try the restore option, the Geek, or both. As they say in the South, "Y'all Rock."

  6. I found a strange new icon in my system tray on my computer yesterday. A green shield. Then, I started getting weird pop up messages telling me my computer was under attack from a virus and did I want to stop the attack. If I tried to launch any program, another pop up informed me that some unintelligible file was infected. It looks to me like a mafia-like virus has taken over my computer and is trying to extort money out of me to get my computer back. It wants to sell me virus scan protection. Really p1$$es me off. I'd like to find these people who write viruses and smack'em. This r
  7. I am organizing a small group batting practice for Thursday July 15th at 6:45 pm in Kennesaw. If your son or daughter needs to improve their batting, please consider pitching in with us. I need at least 1 more child to defray the cost. Right now we have 2 boys 7 y.o. Cost is $100 so with 3, your share would be $33. The coach is fantastic. My son has been going since spring. He went from hitting with no power and bad mechanics to consistently hitting with good mechanics and hitting into the outfield. I want to have him attend regular coaching sessions from now until spring tryouts.
