  1. After the election I unfollowed all of the left biased news sources I followed. It was my way of giving trump a fair shot and benefit of the doubt. I really hoped once he became president he would start acting like a normal person. What most of us see is a giant train wreck, and a president who acts really guilty of something, hence the continuous low approval rating. I'm sure if I was to follow only right-wing news sources my perception would be different. When you dismiss all news that you don't agree with as being fake news and only subscribe to one view, you set yourself up to be woefully misinformed. I know studies are already being done on how otherwise intelligent people who are willing be disillusioned in the name of politics. It's definitely a weird time to be an American.

  2. What year are you living in? Clinton was impeached for far more less than this. The Kennedys were not perfect, but they did a hell of a lot more good than harm.Yes, bring up Ted and all that...What does that have to do with Trump?

    It's called deflection.

  3. I will pray for your families healing.

Thank you. I took my son to the CVS Minute Clinic last night where he was diagnosed with flu B and an ear infection. He's feeling a bit better today.

I didn't realize until this week that you can go to the CVS Minute Clinic website and secure a spot in line from your phone. It's a great way to save yourself from being exposed to germs sitting in a waiting room. I highly recommend it!!

  4. You can have the flu without a fever. I've been sick since last Thursday. I had all the symptoms of the flu but never ran a fever. I'm feeling better now although I have pink eye, but that was the sickest I've been in years. My son has had a fever off and on with a cough and cold for almost 3 weeks now. He had the pink eye too. I've taken him to the Dr. 3 times and he's still sick. I'm seriously at my wit's end. Oh and the hubby has it now too. This flu or whatever it is is no joke. I want spring.

  5. Couple of things...

1 - If this was a tell-all book about Obama, you guys would be trashing it. You're only celebrating it because of your hatred for Trump.

2 - Not long ago, you on the left thought Steve Bannon was an a-hole (and for the record, I don't disagree). Now he's your hero. Do you actually think the rest of us don't see your hypocrisy?

All this book really does is prove that Trump made a major blunder when he brought Bannon in. I think a lot of us would agree that Trump had a very poor start as president, and Bannon was one of his mistakes.

    1. Aren't there already tell all books about Obama? I had always assumed there were. I think every president has one. Doesn't bother me. It's up to the reader to decide what they want to believe or not. Before the election I read a few articles written by people who have interviewed Trump in the past. The behavior from him that they described is pretty much on par with everything we've witnessed in this first year of his presidency. I find that most of the time when Trump goes on one of his tirades against someone who spoke ill of him, he usually ends up proving them right. I will probably read the book because I'm curious. As I've said before this Administration is not like one any of us have ever seen. But just because I plan to read it doesn't mean I'm going to believe everything it says. These types of tell-all books have been around for ages and they've been written about numerous high profile people. I'm sure in every instance there's some truth and some fabrication.

    2. Steve Bannon is scum. Probably always will be. I say probably because everyone has a chance to change.

  6. I seem to recall you being quite offended over the term "Snowflake". Now you call anyone who thinks the haters are being ridiculous Trumpflakes?

    Hmmmm

I seem to remember you calling out people for being hateful, but only when it's people you disagree with. You and others have been happy to contribute to the hatefulness under the Obama Administration. Hmmmmm. So lets not be fake. I was never really offended by the term snowflake but I did question those who used it after an election in which people were legitimately upset at the outcome (now we see why). At this point I call it like I see it. Enough time has passed and we are beyond the point of knee jerk reactions. To still think Trump was a good idea is a conscious decision and one I have no respect for.

I remember you having a problem with me calling the white supremacists in Charlottesville snowflakes. It might be time to stop worrying about terminology and worrying more about the train wreck in the White House.

  7. Considering this administration is like nothing we've ever seen before (everyone should be able to admit that) and the fact that Trump is trying so hard to stop it, of course people are going to be interested in reading it. Not because they hate anything or anyone but because, curiosity. There have been plenty of books written about Obama and every president. Some of y'all have even taken excerpts from books written about Obama and posted about them as fact. No reason to get upset about this book and what it may contain, of course unless you're Donald Trump.

  8. Y'all really should stop with the idea that people are melting down or have no lives because they recognize the absurdity in some of the things that President says and does. Might be time to toughen up a little bit.

I think we all know you guys wouldn't be silent if it were Obama doing and saying these things. Don't be a hypocrite.

  9. I remember when Obama stood in silence and watched as Iranian

protesters begging for freedom were slaughtered in the streets...

    8)

Not sure what that has to do with this poll or Trump's fragile ego, but okay.

Sometimes it's best to just call a spade a spade and acknowledge what is right in front of your face instead of trying to deflect. They guy can't take criticism. Period.

  10. That's not how this works... the onus is on the one making the claim to provide proof of veracity.

Where is the evidence that the Trump administration banned the CDC from using those words ? ? ?

"A wise man once said that you should never believe a thing simply because you want to believe it."

    :search:

    :D :D :D

Literally every news organization on both sides is reporting that it happened. So again I will ask if you have info to the contrary of what everyone else is reporting. Obviously I don't work for the White House or the CDC so I have to rely on what is being reported. I would be open to information disputing those reports but I haven't seen any yet.

I want to believe it's not true because of the absurdity, but at this point I don't put anything past this administration.

  11. I hadn't heard that he had been tried and convicted. Man, the justice system acts fast in Alabama.

He hasn't been tried or convicted but the accusations are credible. Especially considering the guy was actually banned from a mall. But by all means Republicans should give him the benefit of the doubt that they wouldn't dare extend to someone on the opposite side of the aisle.

  12. In 2014, just a few weeks after I lost my husband, it was my birthday when that snow storm shut down Atlanta and surrounding areas. I got up that morning having a pity party for myself - I couldn't get out and no one could get to me. After a while, I realized it could be a lot worse! I could be one of those stuck on the road for hours or I could be without power & food. So, I picked myself up, shook myself off and found things to do to keep me busy! Luckily, your daughter is 20 and can understand what's going on. And while I don't mean to diminish your feelings, sometimes it helps to know that things can always be worse.

No doubt. I definitely reminded her that things could be worse but I did understand her frustration because I was feeling it too after being cold for almost 2 days. Luckily her dad got his power back before we did so she went over there To have warmth and cake. As her mom I just wanted her to be happy on her birthday. I'm sorry for the loss of your husband.

  13. Breaking from AP news

WASHINGTON (AP) — A veteran FBI counterintelligence agent was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s team investigating Russian election meddling after the discovery of an exchange of text messages seen as potentially anti-President Donald Trump, a person familiar with the matter said Saturday.

I see this as a good thing. We don't need people with an obvious bias conducting important investigations. With that said, be patient folks, this isn't over.
