Went to school in Rome GA but I had cousins that graduated from McEachern, Steve, Chris and Laurie Ingram.

I understand about on call police, fire chief ect...but the ones that sit in an office and gets in the county vehicle to do personal stuff and eat lunch ect...is what I am wondering. Guess I just need to go ahead and waste my money. Are the employees(department heads included) not accountable?

I do not post much but this has been on my mind lately. If the county is so tight with money how come I see county employees and/or driving the county vehicles to lunch, to the bank, to walmart, to target and other such places? I thought if you are on your lunch break you are off the clock, can someone help me understand this waste of my taxpayer money?

Where is the Dugout located? I would really like some good onion rings!

My hubby and I ate at the canjun place in Carrollton and were so disappointed. The food was bland. No spice or salt or anything. We wil not go back. Waiting for the Backwoods to open.

Timothy Andrew Baxter, Taylorsvile, Ga was born January 1st, 1960 in Paulding County, passed away suddenly May 26, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center. Tim is survived by loving wife Belinda Williams Baxter,daughters Kallie Baxter and Tori Haygood of Taylorsville, Ga. Brothers Randy E Baxter of Rockmart, Ga and Lewis Hogan of Rome,Georgia and several nieces and nephews. He is the son of the late Evelyn Walker Baxter and Earlon F (Pete) Baxter. Mr. Tim Baxter will be at Owens Funeral Home of Cartersville and arrangements have not been made at this time.

Registration for swim lessons at Sara Babb pool begin tomorrow. I spoke with the lady and registration is every Tuesday and Thursday 9:15am-1:00m and 4:00pm-6:00pm. I first hought no lessons then I got a call that said they are having them. YEA!!! I forgot you can register at the pool concession stand.
