  1. When I don't need one they are everywhere. I am not particular but would prefer a house with character. You know, not perfect, but could be a home for two old people and two getting there.
  2. must be a shortage of rental homes in Paulding if only one came up
  3. We live in New Hope vicinity. We thought we had a reliable person to plow it but that fell through. Our home number is 678-695-3753
  4. I think some people are granted wisdom as they age and this is not a pun on age because I'm looking at 70. You come to realize that there is a lot that you can't do to help people to see what they are doing to their children and spouses. I have repeated that history repeats itself as far as child abuse, molestation, spousal abuse and general lack of caring for the rights of others. It was liberating for me to realize that I have done my job and I am no longer responsible for the acts or lack of acts from my children or grandchildren. I don't know of anything else to do then to give them to God
  5. I have an overweight very friendly pot bellied pig. Its plays with chickens and dogs, kids especially if they have food. He rolls over for a belly rub and grunts in pleasure. He's a loving trusting pet. He belonged to my niece and was housetrained to a litter box. She lived in the Douglasville city limits and was told that the pig had to go by city ordinance. She is in my parents backyard roaming free and they can't keep her either, per landlord. I am signing in under my dad. My name is Shannon. My number is 404-980-9280 You can have it free but not to eat.
  6. My friend from Minn got a shock just before Christmas when her Mom told her that they had a program up there that would let people go peacefully with the families help. She about went into shock. She begged her Mom to please not do this. Her sisters said that they were alright with it and were even going to help. They were told that many times people were just to uptight to let go and die. Can you believe that. They were told that they would hook them up to IV and would inject muscle relaxers, pain relievers, and tranquilizers. They would leave enough medications to last three days. They wer
  7. I worked with a lot of senior citizens and of course had a lot of them to die while in and out of my care. The ones that were good good people went easy, they just went to sleep. The ones that had been mean to other people had slow painful deaths. Having taken care of old people, I wanted out before I had to go through what they had gone through like having to wear diapers again, or being helpless, depending on someone else to feed me. I am 65 and in control of all my faculties and before my body becomes my enemy I want out. My Mom had a massive stroke at 58. She was sitting on the couch, w
  8. We live accross from White Oak Park and yes I had two low-flying jets come over. I wondered why also. I guess they woke up a lot of people, just hope they don't do it often. They were close enough together and it sounded as if they were on the same flight path which couldn't be unless they were circling all over Paulding.
  9. Our landlord is going up on our rent. No warning just happened. I was checking to maybe moving to an apartment to stop having to mow the lawn but the prices are out the wazoo. Is there such a thing as reasonable rent. Two bedroom house with outside shed $1,000 a month. Good lord, is there gold in the dirt around it. Just venting, what do you guys think about the prices. It is much cheaper to buy, but on Social Security checks there is no way.
  10. I use herbs even for spider bites. Liquid sasparilla in an extract. To Use put a few drops on a gauze pad and tape it on the spider bite. It hurts because it draws the poison out. You change the pad daily. Each time it is changed it pulls a core of poison out. It takes about two weeks to completely get over it. I still have a small pimple from it. I was told that the antiobiotics would have helped but that would mean going to a doctor and I just didn't want too. It should be a staple of every ones first aid kit. We had two small dogs bit by a copperhead. They were lethargic when my daughter
  11. Bread, meats, and cleaning supplies are cheaper at Food Depot than Kroger but Kroger is cheaper on dairy products when you factor in the 10%. Just my 2%
  12. Where is Rick? I've lost his number
  13. I have a gift that is sort of a help but just not enough. When one of my granddaughters was 4, her mom couldn't find her. I saw her asleep on the floor but I couldn't tell what floor in what room. We found her asleep on the tree house floor. That's just one of many sightings that are just not complete enough to really help anyone. I've never saw a dead person when I've looked to see where a person was but I did manage to get a teenage girl in trouble because she was supposed to be a work and I saw her sitting on the bottom of a boy's bed and I described the room. Her mom went to a boy's hous
  14. The people that were working with the parks, putting out the eggs were excellent, there just were not enough of them to come down and enforce order. It is good that they did it and their heart was in the right place. Maybe if there had been a police officer there then people would have behaved better. For something that is just eggs it was unforgiveable for an adult to do to a child. Paulding County Parks don't have a black mark but the people that did this I hope never do this again. My wife is going next year and she will yell loud and clear if this happens again at the perpetrator. People
