  1. Walmart won't even do that!! I was told "IF" they get past the front door, they can't ask the customer "anything!!" But, the Customer Service (1-800-WAL-MART) said it's at the Managers Discretion whether or not to question the customers. Sounds like they need to hire the folks who WILL do their job right and not just someone who just walks around , looks busy and turns a blind eye, when they see an animal coming in the door!!!!!! This world and the Society as a whole, is getting weaker and weaker by the day!!! Letting this slide, letting that slide, even the Justice System is getting slack!
  2. I'm looking for a Mandolin Slicer but, I don't want just a cheap one, I just want it to be a good one and NOT break the bank. What's your thoughts?
  3. ONLY Service Animals are allowed in any store!! Service Dogs has a legitimate vest, walks by it’s handler/owner and NOT in the shopping cart!! WHY, don’t folks get this?? In Walmart today there was a dog, sitting in the Baby seat of the shopping cart. I asked a Store Manager can’t they ask the Customer to leave and I was informed that they can’t say anything to the customers IF they get past the front door. That’s a bunch of BULL!! I called Corporate and they said it’s at the discretion of the store manager as to what they let goon in their store! Really?? I told him that was a lame excuse.
  4. Just Beautiful!! Oh, the car, too!!! Glad you finally found your perfect ride!,
  5. Sorry for the Family’s loss and please accept our Condolences.
  6. Just be warned that the “seasoned” French Fries are NOT the same as the regular Crinkle Fries!! If you don’t eat salt (and I Don”t) don’t order the Seasoned Fries!!! The Seasoned Fries are VERY Similar to the Fries at Checkers.
  7. Yes, it’s NOT like Folk’s but, it is Seafood. The food was very good and plentiful for the price!! I thought the music was too loud but, then again, my ears are very sensitive. We WILL go back.
  8. Yes, it was Kauffman's. Thanks. Hubby and I was just talking about this, today!! We've been keeping up with the renovating. Waiting and watching patiently!! Can't wait to try it!!!
  9. I myself can't take pictures, for Privacy reasons of course. But, IF someone else has pics that I can get my hands on, I'll post. I don't stay and help distribute on site. However, I pick up and deliver the Produce for 5 people who can't get out , who are sick, not physically able and/or can not pick up for themselves.
  10. Is this the new place where The Ben's Furniture used to be located? And used to be a Tire Store, before moving across the street to where Sonny's BBQ used to be? I can't think of the name of the tire store, before it became Mavis.
  11. Get the word out and be early before it gets too hot!!
  12. I pay no attention to all caps......................
  13. Please keep this bumped up, on the front page, so that everyone will see it. Thanks in advance.
  14. Is it on Macland Rd or on 92????? If you talking about the land clearing on Macland Rd, (between Smith & Poplar Springs) kinda sorta behind or nearby the Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church? My guess is that it may be one of those age 55+ subdivisions/complex. They seem to be building a lot of those around here.
  15. This just may be the “only” thing I post about!! I’m NOT up for changes, either!!!! Sorry, I just can’t get it.
  16. This is one of those things that make you say! “If. It. Ain’t. Broke. Don’t. Fix it.” Yep, that just about sums it up!!
  17. Helping Hands Of Paulding Co.is having the Produce Day on 8/20. Which is next Tuesday. The ONLY restrictions are that you must be age 55 or older!! No Income restrictions or Residency restrictions, either! There are NO Public Restrooms so please take care of business before you get in line. We never know what we’ll be getting until the truck has arrived and is unloaded, the earlier you get there, the more you’ll get. They have a limit of two orders of food per car. Don’t forget to bring your ID, they will be checking them!! Get there before it gets too hot, for sure!!
  18. We love our 2015 Buick Enclave. We had a 2008 Enclave and traded that in for a 2011 GMC Acadia (totally same as the Buick) then back to a 2015 Buick Enclave, it gets avg 18 mpg around town and 26 mpg on the interstate. If, I were to get another vehicle,it wouldn’t be a new one and it would be either a GMC or Buick!!
  19. Beautiful pics!! I wanted to go see the Chihuly Exhibit but, we never made it, then it was at The Biltmore House and didn’t make it up there, either. I just might try to get there before the weather gets too hot, again.
  20. Please keep this bumped to the front page. Pass along the information to anyone you know that could use about 30 lbs of FREE produce, which usually fruits, vegetables, and some type of drink. We never know what is on the truck until it arrives and is unloaded. You must be 55 years and older. You don't even have to get out of the vehicle. Helping Hands will have plenty of Volunteers to load your car!
  21. They do in the big rooms but, our little Mini Yorkie (Roscoe P Coaltrain) and Morkie (Lucy) could not handle the loud barking of the bigger Doggies so they stay in the more quiet area, in the foldable play pens. They even get to run loose a little bit. The ladies there are sooo doggone sweet!! We’ll use them Again, most definitely!!
  22. I hope they’re caught and punished accordingly!! They need to pay restitution, too!!
