  1. Sue fought a very courageous, dignified battle. I was honored to care for her during her and her families journey. Through the hope and then the relapse and then hope and then the bad news, she always kept a positive, uplifting attitude. She truly knew and love God and she is rejoicing with Him now. You will forever be in my thoughts.

  2. I have a special place in my heart for recovering addicts. Very. Special. Place.

Sounds like you know someone in recovery. Please let them know to come to our Wednesday evening groups, they are so informative and healing. The F.A.I.T.H group holds their Saturday night gathering once a month, we have only had 3 so far, but we are hoping to have them every Saturday night as the group grows. We have had about 50 people come so far but would like more. So if you know ANYONE that is looking for a group that will make them feel welcome please have them p.m. me and I will give you information.

  3. I had the honor of meeting Chris on two-three different occasions. Our church hosted an informational seminar on addiction (open to anyone) and he came as a guest speaker telling his miraculous story.

Ann and George have started a recovery group that meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm at Dallas First Methodist Church (chrisitian based recovery, all invited) and this lead to a group gathering on Saturday night, once a month, called F.A.I.T.H (families and individulas in therapeutic healing) where everyone gathers and eats, then plays games and socialize. Chris and his wife came to the first one and they were just two of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Chris' story, After the Storm by Ann Pennebaker, will live on forever and hopefully will be the inspiration for many an addict to start their road to recovery.

Many years of animal experience (from owning my own: dogs, cats, reptiles, snakes, rats, hamsters) and volunteering at the PCAC for around 4 months. (& I can't wait to start again!)

I am willing to do anything at this point, and not expecting more than minimum wage.

  6. Vernell, you were a very special lady and a great nurse to mentor myself after. I worked with you for 25 years and have known you even longer, you will truly be missed here on earth. I am a little jealous that God has you in his arms and we have to miss you here, but one day we will all rejoice together.

  7. Lots of good stuff. Couches, coffee tables, Christmas Decorations, Indians decorations and much much more. Some items are antiques and are estate sale stuff.

    Directions:

Off Hwy 92 between Macland Rd and Hwy 278, look for the signs. Across from Indian Lake Sub division.

It is the driveway just before the Family Denistry Office on the right coming from 278 and it is just past the Dentis office on the left coming from Macland Rd area.

Hope to see u there. Come early(sunrise) before the good stuff is gone.!!

  8. It was an dark blue, older model single small cab truck, had some kind of equipment on the back of it that had fallen off I guess during the accident.

I too went by this and being a medical person thought that someone must either be badly hurt or dead. I just couldn't figure out how the accident occurred due to the angle of the truck and where the tree was hit. It was odd.

    Prayers to the family/s

  9. I only saw one male, BUT I was watching out for all the police cars and not looking too hard at the car, could have missed the other guys. Wonder what they had done. They sure were driving SLOW.

My curiosity is aroused since they were not "running" (speeding) from the police. LOL

    Anyone know???
