  1. Where abouts in DelRay? My son and his family live there.
  2. The correct answer is so obvious. The '0' stands for OBAMA. That's because he is such a non-entity in the coming election which equates to '0', zero, nothing, nada, less than substance and, frankly, not worth poop.
  3. I thought there was a law in Georgia that when a child reached 18 they had to move out, get a job, get martied, and have children but not necessarily in that order. I lived at home after two years at college. Had a full time job, paid rent, kept up mine and parents cars in addition to yard work. Got married at 22 and we had our own place. Parents remodeled home. Probably waited until I left because they feared I would stay once they remodeled. I know a guy I worked with back in 2004 that his 25 and 28 year olds still lived at home and worked but didn't pay. Talk about enabling kids.
  4. My sister lives in SC and said since the gestapo feds have filed a suit against SC and if you have an old voter card from SC (if you once lived there) you actually can vote. The reason the feds don't want proper ID is so all the illegals can vote for PO. That way he has a better chance to be the imperial dictator. Since I am from SC and happen to have my old voter card I might just run on over and vote. Bet you don't know which one I would vote. SC evangelical dilemma: vote for an adulterer or a Mormon.
  5. If you have a permit to carry a concealed weapon and go to a gun show do you still have to wait x amount of days to purchase the gun? Couldn't find site for law.
  6. Gilligans is good for oysters as well as fresh sea food. Use to go to Shem Creek Bar and Grill in Mt. Pleasant. Been several years but always good food and plentyful. If you like good lowcountry (mustard base) bar-b-que go to Kelly's in Summerville.
  7. Has anyone shopped at the Piggly Wiggly in Villa Rica? We shopped there when we lived in Charleston and they always had good deals.
  8. I have the fix: Jack truck up; drive new chevy truck under it; throw away FORD truck. Problem solved. First mistake was buying a Ford. FORD - use to be fix or repair daily. Now it's fix or RECALL daily.
  9. PO and the State Dept decision to not approve the pipeline is probably the smartest move he has made..............for the Repubs. They, the Repubs, need to jump on this and ride it like a wild bull because PO and his socialist are killing capitalism. He doesn't care that the unions won't have jobs because he has to please the enviromental winnies this time. Personally I think PO is a ........I don't need to go there do I? This needs to be moved to the political forum.
  10. Things sure would be different if he were still alive. He wouldn't put up with all the 'hood' junk. A man with a great vision. Too bad there wsn't someone to take up his banner of non violence and love of one another. Did you know his original name was Michael King, Jr.and his Dad was Michael King. His Dad changed his and MLK,Jr names. His Father was a very religious man. MLK made this statement: "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." --Martin Luther King Jr. He knew how to identify the Demo liberals early on. If the shoe fits..
  11. Thanks for the info. Now if I can PO to grant me a SBL I can start. What I want to sell is not on several college items for sell sites. Will check with CLC.
  12. Would you have to do this if you just want to use the college name?
  13. If I want to make a product with the name "Georgia Bulldogs' am I required to get permission from the UGA? I do know if you use their logo you have to have permission. There are a lot of college name products out there and I wonder how many have permission. Would you have to pay a fee to just use the name and no logo? What if I want to use a local high school name? Do you have to get the county Bd of Ed permission? Anyone else done this before?
  14. And his granparents are really super people. They do a lot to preserve the history of Paulding County.
  15. This is the quickest way to do it. Just go up to the new courthouse bulding on the right, first floor to the left of the receptionist. They are very helpful. They can also tell you right then where you will vote. Be sure to have driver's license or passport.
  16. Lots of scenes were filmed at Pickett's Mill State Park using the old cabin and surroundings. Check it out. The park is the site of a major Civil War battle and is the best preserved battleground site in the US. Great museum also. Lots of history.
  17. Food Lion has best steaks. Tender and not like Kroger. Publix way to high for quality. FL buy one get one free large easy peel shrimp a good buy. They do double coupons and accept other store coupons. Compition got best of FL. Store is in bad location. Business location success is like kisses......location, location, location.
  18. Now all you have to worry about is if those beetles get into your Leland Cypress. There seems to be a bettle that cannot be treated with any insecticide that gets into the trees and kills them. A neighbor has lost two and another is dying. On a nearby street a neighbor lost a row of Leland cypress. Lost Mtn Nursery said that there is nothing that kills them. They sold me an evergreen similar to the Leland but doesn't get the beetle problem. All of mine are OK. Good luck.
  19. Tim Tebow pulled it off last night in overtime. The Steelers were predicted to win by many people. Both played a great game. On the first play from scrimmage in OT Tim threw a touchdown pass. The fans went wild. They showed Tim doing the "Tebow" after the play. It would have been great if all the team went on the field and did the "Tebow".
  20. My daughter is the only person to make NO a two syllable word like NOO-ah. Thought she might be a Baptist preacher. And she used to say belt seat. When any of our adult children screw up words or mispronounce them we both correct them. They usually reply "whatever". Our grandchildren know when they come over to use the ma'am and sirs or else. When they hear one of use say "excuse me" they correct themselves and we always say thank you. And they don't mind us correcting their English or pronunciations. At least not openly.
  21. Examples: By not voting I effected the outcome. What affect would I have if I didn't vote? People lie, chickens lay. ex: I will lie down for a nap. Where did you lay the book? A lot of mispronunciations are really just colloquialism. Or better still, just plain lazy. Parents should correct children's pronunciations early as well as correct English such as "Me and John went out." S/B "John and I went out." You wouldn't say "Me went out" or would you? Always use the other person first. At an early age my grandmother used to ding me for get. I pronounced it git and she would say "No its
  22. I worked with a man that was 12 during the depression. His family raised vegies and sold them door to door. He said once when he was with his dad a lady said she had no money but needed food for her family. He said his dad told him to go back to the truck and wait. He later figured out how the woman paid for the vegies. Maybe this woman was just trying to get some vegies. Wonder what she does for dessert?
  23. And what will you be saying after Alabama whips up on LSU? It will be a close game but 'Bama will get it's revenge Monday night.
  24. I posted this back in Novemebr after Clemson blew a football game: Sent 27 November 2011 - 12:32 PM "What a disappointung game. Why didn't Sweeny put in another QB? They just fell flat. Not in the same game. A high school team would have played better. Just hope they get their act together before ACC title game. Sad as it was I still support my TIGERS." Did you watch the game? It was pathetic to say the least. A true comedy of errors. Loosing 70 to 33 is enough to ask what really went wrong. Offensive coordinator is good but the line has to block. The defensive coordinator needs repla
  25. Then again he may have known what she was doing and got tired of it and made sure she didn't do it any more. Did he take a lie detector test? Did they search his house for a possible crime? Not a lot coming from news or police.
