  1. Thank you, I responded.
  2. Well, it looks like I need to hire an attorney in Savannah.
  3. Can anyone here recommend a real estate attorney in our area. I'm not looking for a high dollar attorney, but one that is knowledgeable and can give me some good sound advice regarding a property I own in the Savannah area. Currently, I have a Comcast contractor who wants to use my property to access their facility that is located behind my home down there. I need advice on how to proceed with this and make sure that the status of my private property will not change IF I agree to a lease they want to provide. They have already been illegally using my property without my permission and have caused damage to my property. Thanks
  4. If you recall, I posted a couple of weeks ago about the man who had been hit by the car on Hwy 92 @ Nebo Rd. Well, I just received a message from a family member of his that he passed away Thursday. I do not yet know his name or his age, but I ask that you all to please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. It's very tragic what happened to him and is something that no one should ever have to go through, especially those left behind. I was reluctant to post this before, because I didn't know what the police would say about it, but his family member has asked that I please ask, if anyone witnessed or was in the area at the time of the accident, please contact the Hiram Police dept. The man was hit by three vehicles, only one stopped. That means that there are two other vehicles that may have damage from the accident. Honestly, after seeing the aftermath of the accident, it is VERY likely the other two drivers did not even know they hit a person. The couple of people I have spoken to, assumed there was debris in the road and one described what they saw as a rolled up piece of carpet. The accident occured on Monday February 22, 2016 at approximately 6:45 pm. Please if you have any information contact the Hiram PD. **The gentleman's name was Bobby Johnson, he was 46 years old. His funeral services will be held in his home state of Kentucky.
  5. I must amend this post. It has come to my attention that the information given to me was incorrect. He is in critical condition, but alive. This information came from one of his family members. I am not sure how the miscommunication happened, but it is a relief to know that he still has a fighting chance. Please continue to keep him and his family members in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you all.
  6. It's very possible it was the same guy, but I don't know for certain. I'm sending prayers up for everyone involved.
  7. I have been told that the man did not make it. Yes, the person who hit him did stop. The dog has been found and is safe. He is a pit bull and from what I understand, he is a very friendly guy, his name is Blue. This just breaks my heart, the whole situation is sad. Please pray or send good thoughts to his family and friends, his dog, and all of the emergency workers who did all the could last night to help him. Hiram PD and Metro Ambulance paramedics and EMT's were wonderful and handled the situation very well. The person that hit him had a child in the vehicle, please remember them in your thought and prayers, as well.
  8. Last night a homeless man was hit by a vehicle at 92 and Nebo. Does anyone here, by chance, know if he is okay? I didn't witness the accident, but drove right after it happened and stopped. At first I thought there was a sleeping bag in the road, but it turned out to a person. I know he was alive when he was taken by ambulance.
  9. The last time I paid my bill at that office, I was told it would be GSP office. That's what an employee said, but things change, so we will just have to wait and see.
  10. I'm not sure where you can get your chickens processed, but Lowrider, Claxton chickens are raised and processed here in Georgia. I have found them at Walmart. They tend to be on the smallish side compared to others, but they are quite good.
  11. American Pharaoh is the Triple Crown winner, first since Affirmed in 1978! Congratulations to his owners and trainers.
  12. My MIL, who lives in Daytona Beach, had two black swans back in the mid-late 90's. They were so pretty, but MEAN! They tried to raise two or three separate clutches of babies, but a bobcat kept getting them. The darn thing ultimately caught and killed the female swan and the male was very lonely. MIL didn't want to try to get another mate for him out of fear of the bobcat getting one again. Eventually, the male flew off and she swears on her life that that swan ended up in Stuart Florida. There was some local rag that wrote an article about it and how friendly he was, whatever, he was mean. Well, except to my MIL. I can't remember how she found out about the story, but hopefully the swan found a new mate. BTW my MIL can walk outside and call to the wild raccoons in the middle of the afternoon and they will come down from the trees to see what she has for them. It's crazy.
  13. We have had our Bosch since December 2011 and it is wonderful. It cleans really well, extremely quiet and I like the hidden control buttons. I know it's running because the little red light on the bottom is on, otherwise I don't hear it. The only thing that annoyed me was the buzzer to indicate the dishes are done, I turned that thing off quick.
  14. My neighbor is a stained glass artist. He is very good and is more than capable of teaching or assisting you with your needs. You can google Mack Porter stained glass, several photos come up of him and his work. I recognize his work, but the one with the lady in the yellow flowing dress is of him and his work. Just to give you an idea.
