The power went out long enough yesterday for me to hve to reset ALL the clocks and the coffee maker. K, here is what happened.... Principal sent email to the teachers and any child that does not want to watch will be sent to the media center. My son's teacher OBVIOUSLY misunderstood what the principal was requesting because she gave the children in my son's class the option to turn their chairs around. I feel better that my son did not take this upon himself. (however, he has some splainin to do!) I am rather UPSET @ the teacher/school for letting this happen because IMO it has shown ALL the students in that class that it is OK to disrespect the office of the president

I have NO Problem with him making the decision not to watch. What I do have a problem with is How and What He said about it. There is normally a kernel of TRUTH even when in jest. I put it out there to hear from other parents on what they would do. Once Again.... p.com has risen to the challenge.
