  1. I was the same way. Would NOT throw up, no matter what! The few times I did (food poisoning, horrible virus) I had to be taken to the ER for fluids. Several years ago, I started getting migraines. They made me throw up all the time. Oh, how I hated it. Thankfully, they seem to be healed!
  2. Now listen here, Missy....you just lock it and throw away the key! What happens on Pcom STAYS on Pcom! I had a recommendation via PM, so I've made the appointment.
  3. Shhhh!!! Don't you dare! I'm going to be in sooo much trouble!
  4. Yeah, we know that, but my brother in law had some crazy complications (developed a hematoma, and was in quite a state for about a month.) Oh, you think you're soooo smart, dontcha?!
  5. If you don't know, I ain't tellin'!
  6.  I soooo forgot about that. I've got to order some of the earrings to be wearing when he comes out of surgery!!!
  7. My war cry is something akin to "Ugggghhhhhh"!!! But it doesn't even work anymore. They just make fun of me, "Run for the hills....she's screaming like a banshee!" or "Nah, she sounds like a pirate!" I actually had to go through my own procedure, but for other health "reasons". We were going to have me fixed in the middle of all of that, but in the long run, it would have led to multiple procedures and been rather extended. That's when HE suggested that he'd just go ahead and do it. I guess he does love me!
  8. Oh, you can make plenty of jokes! Just not TO him. Guess I'll have to extend my *imaginary* mod powers to shut this thread down before he sees it!
  9. but I need the name of a GOOD doctor for my husband. It's time for the "big V". His schedule is so it has to be somewhere close by. Is there a doctor around Paulding to do this? (I've been trying our regular doctor's office all day, and nobody will answer the phone!) And please.....don't make any jokes to him about this! :beggingonmyknees:
  10. It's BEE-YOOT-EE-FUL!!! Will you please come decorate my trailer!
  11. It's been a long time since I've been "inspiring". We'll just go with that. Just for today. 'Cause it makes me feel good.
  12. Oh, I rarely get mad! I just need to do some deep soul searching to find out why all my topics turn - ahem - "frisky"!
  13. Is it safe to say this thread has turned "off-color"?
  14. It doesn't matter what someone else told you. Are the meetings valuable to YOU? (Either personally or professionally - if you feel they are helpful - they are!)
  15. There's no such thing. It's not in the manual! ('member?)
  16. Or, just engaging in a discussion among others with whom he may or may not agree, as he seeks out and gathers information on a hot topic which has the potential to eventually affect the majority of the American population.
  17. I promise to only use my power to shut down OLD POLLS when the TROLL appears. Thanks!
  18. And HORRIBLE poetry. His/her English teacher will be none too happy!
  19. I haven't decided anything for him. The Word of God stands on its own. Again, in his immaturity, he may "believe" differently, but this particular Scripture is not one of the places in the Bible that says, "may" or "some will". This particular Scripture gives a command for ALL believers in Christ (Christians) to follow. Not my words. The Words of HIS God.
  20. Again, you have it completely backward. The government doesn't speak for God. GOD gives authority to the government. Follow the chain of command. If the young man feels he has convictions, he should measure them according to the Word of God. God speaks to His children through His Word, other people, experiences, and in their hearts. Often, believers are subject to "misinterpretation" and God tells them that His Word is the final Word. Believers often have misperceptions about what God expects from them, especially in immaturity (which according to how new his faith is, seems to
  21. You repeatedly spoke of the young man and HIS beliefs. If he is a Christian, the Bible is what he believes. It's not about the government interpreting the Bible, it's about HIM honoring the religion/belief system he ascribes to. By not submitting to the authority of the government, he is in sin according to the Word of God. The government itself is a bystander in the scenario.
  22. :taptaptap: Is this thing on? Above in my post #87, I quoted Scripture - which if the man is a Christian, is the word of his God - it clearly says that by not fulfilling his commitment (rebelling against the authority) he is in sin. If he is a Christian - which the article says he is, the Word of God is the determination of what is sin and what is not.
