Mine was much higher also. I called the power company and they said that the weather did play a big part but also gave some recommendations to conserve some heat. They said if you water heater is electric to make sure it is set to 120 thermostat. A lot of them are set at 140 which pulls more. Also to only use ceiling fans if you are in the room since they pull the heat also. Craziness I tell ya!!! We are going to have to resort to building fires in a barrel pretty soon!!

I am getting ready to read that SK book. And I like Dean Koontz also. The book Intensity was just that....intense but very good, and I loved the Odd Thomas series!!

I Did that over the summer for my niece thru Shutterfly and she LOVED it. It looked so awesome and you got to pick the color backdrop behind the picture and I got to put motivational sayings on each photo. It was fun to make and she was so happy with it.

It seems like that would be Illegal. If that were the case then anyone could put anyones name on a bill. That doesn't make much sense to me. Have you tried calling them?

The bill should go to whoever took him to the doctor. I would call the office and find out why it did not. Keep us posted

You are probably right and I probably did jump to conclusions. I am sure that the teachers are trained and know how to handle that type of situation. It just makes me nervous when you see all these shootings at schools lately. The world is crazy and we as parents try to do whatever is necessary to protect our children as well.

I agree with you, I know it is to protect my child but it seems like there would be a better way to ensure the childrens safety to parents.

I called and they confirmed but would not tell me why. That is crap. My husband just called and they said the lockdown has just been lifted, but refused to tell him why. I think we as parents have every right to know why something like that occurs. With everything going on in today's schools that should not been taken lightly!

I just called the school and they said theya re not at liberty to tell me why they are in lockdown. I asked if someone came to school with a gun or something and the Principal told the office personnel to tell me that they are not at liberty to say. I am furious. My child goes there and if there is something wrong they should tell me!!!

I am a bit confused, if something is happening on E Paulding Drive why would the school be in lockdown?

My hubby and I try to go on a cruise every year. It is the cheapest way to get to see so many different places. And each day you are in a new place and get to experience different cultures. It really is very relaxing and definately eye opening. The beaches are amazing, and the shopping is usually very good as well. I recommend Royal Carribbean. They seem to have the best service. This kid made himself look like a tool. He has a point about the color of hair and dressing but he comes across wrong. The bathroom issue just puts him over the top. The school was willing to work with him and nothing he said this morning was consistent. He dropped out they didn't kick him out and then he gets frustrated the school hasn't called to cooperate and beg him to come back....he quit. Bottom line.
