  1. The East Paulding Baseball Booster Club will be holding our 7th Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, Oct. 23rd at the Dogwood Golf Club in Austell. See the link or reach out to me for more info! https://www.facebook.com/events/903375983024412/?ref=3&ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular Golf-Players-2014.pdf
  2. Cigarettes being sold at a drug store was the original topic of discussion, then junk food was brought up, hence my reply. Now Alcohol is a totally different subject. But again, me drinking a beer does nothing to you, unless I make the bad choice of drinking beer, driving, and hitting someone. Then it comes to judgement, not me deciding to have a beer or two.. So yes, alcohol related accidents are responsible for more deaths, but in reality, bad judgement causes more death than the alcohol itself..
  3. This argument always amuses me. I can stand beside anyone and eat candy bars, drink sodas, or eat a triple cheeseburger and yes, I will get fat, sick, and probably feel disgusting, but outside of you getting grossed out watching me stuff my face, it won't effect your health at all.. Now, you stand by me and puff on a cigarette, you are effecting anyone nearby with known toxic 2nd hand smoke..
  4. Yes, they are totally willing to do it, and reasonable rate I think, but they require a $1,000,000.00 insurance policy..
  5. My son wants a basketball party for his b-day. I tried Boots Ward, but they are unavailable for rent on Sundays. Do any of you know of a basketball gym at local churches, or anything else that I could rent for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon?
  6. Not trying to defend anyone or anything, I don't have a dog in this fight outside of having a student at EP, but since when is being expelled from school, getting 400 hrs of community service, and fines of $1000 getting off scot-free? Maybe the punishment was a bit lenient, but scot-free it is not.
  7. I coached TT's kid in baseball one year. Mom and Dad were very gracious, and VERY into the games. Travis would lead the cheer "Let's go Pirates", all while sounding like he was singing. Good kid, nice family!
  8. I am not a perfect person, I don't expect my kids to be perfect. We all make mistakes and make some bad choices in life. Do I think these kids should be punished? Yes. Do I think that the punishment should potentially ruin their future? Nope.. That being said, my opinion is that none of these kids should be expelled..
  9. Is that not whats being built at the old Sonny's location?
  10. I think this is a great approach! I disagree with being that stern if my kids really want something. This will cause them to rebel at some point. We use this approach on just about anything they ask for and works well.
  11. Excited that it is coming on Sprint. I get a discount through work that has kept me at Sprint for over 10 years and been wanting the iPhone badly.. Can't wait!
