I was at a tool store awhile back and they were selling what they claim to be WD-40's original formula under a different name. I can't recall what the name was though.

Better off to buy from an individual unless you need the dealer assisted financing. Pick up an AutoTrader or Thrifty Nickle and they will have loads of cars listed.

pubby - dunno if you meant this the way it comes across, but it reeks of censorship. I think you'll anger a lot of folks and hurt the forum if you try this. There are better ways to handle the types of problems that go along with religious and political discussion. Just my $.02

I disagree that the "far rights" out number the "far lefts", there are lots of libbies on P'Com. Also, defining the two is a matter of opinion. But I agree that the forums should stay password protected. Both subjects are emotional ones that need a bit more freedom in the rules than the open forums can allow.

They will make R-22 until 2020 unless congress moves up the phase out, which is very possible. The problem is the price of it, it's already 3 times the cost that it was a year ago and that will get worse as time goes on. There are some replacement refrigerants that can be used in R-22 systems, but most don't perform as well and they are also expensive. Also, the newer units don't work just right on existing indoor coils. When they raised the efficiency they changed the pressures and temperatures that the systems operate at, and they aren't totally compatible with older equipment. I

Sounds like it's freezing up. Check the big copper line outside and see if it's covered with ice. If so, it's either undercharged or you have an air flow problem. Check your filter and change if it's dirty. Make sure the vents are all open and not blocked or restricted. You'll need to thaw it completely. Turn the fan switch (ON/AUTO) to ON so the fan will run continuously. Then turn the mode switch (HEAT/OFF/COOL) to OFF so the outdoor unit will stay off. Let it run like that for several hours and it should melt the ice build-up. If it's undercharged you'll need a professional
