  1. I love to watch this move when i know it is on. I just got finished watching it and it is always like watching it the first time. What is your favorite old black and white movie???

    Sunset Boulevard

    Doctor Strangelove

    Fate is the Hunter

Half of The Wizard of Oz.

  2. I agree we did recommend water....the carbonation surely didn't help his cause..

I disagree. The carbonation would help to, uh, relieve pressure.

I would eat swiftly enough to get the densest stuff in first. Forget the chips and such until later - They will swell up. After eating the dense stuff (Burger pattie, bacon), in about 30 minutes, then I would go for the less dense stuff (Veggies, then chips, then bun) over a period of the next hour and a half. No more liquid than necessary, and carbonated at that. It would be boring video. I would use every minute wisely.

    Then I would win.

Then I would go outside and die. Wearing my T-Shirt.

  3. Man, what a downer! I wanted to check out the boob thread.

Speaking as a man of the opposite sex, boobs are cool.

But when you've seen two, you've seen them all.

Breasts (Whether natural or artificial) are certainly an attention getter, but sooner or later you are going to have to talk. I prefer looking into her eyes, and then everything from the neck down is up for discussion - not analysis.

Ladies - If you want to turn a man on, just show up.

  4. Let me play the devils advocate.

His prior crime was rape. I wonder if he would have killed her if she had not bitten his part.. It was my understanding that he struck her in response to being bit.

What would you have done, been raped and maybe he would have gotten off, or risked death and injured him?

I still would have bitten his winkie off. But that's just me. That's why I love her. She made a stand.

  5. Boardwalk/ Yacht Club (They're sorta together) have a great pool with all the trimmings, food, lots going on, and convenient to the parks.

My family insists on going swimming there every day in December, for crying out loud.

Massage and other pamperings available on-site.

  6. OMG! You're going on the 4th of July? Then find the cheapest dive you can find with a pool. You won't be able to ride more than 2 or 3 rides a day, anyway.

Pop Century, and they have a great Food Court. Go to Epcot one night and eat at one of the restaurants. I personally like Germany or China.

The kid won't care if the kid is just there.

  7. I don't care about the price, but that's a huge difference!

We have been to Disney World twice since December, and at least once a year I like to stay in one of the Deluxe Resorts, If the stock market will cooperate.

But make no mistake about it: When you stay at the Deluxe Resorts, you are actually renting a room into which you can throw Mickey money.

  8. If you are thinking of spending Grand Floridian prices, the Animal Kingdom is nice, but far away from anything else.

Boardwalk and the Yacht Club are also in that range. Awesome pool with a sand bottom and slides, food everywhere, you can walk or take a boat to Epcot or MGM (Or whatever they call MGM now).

Then there's the Contemporary in that range. I like it, many think it is a little sterile, but it is in the middle of everything, and you can get to any of the parks in about 10 minutes.

Maybe my favorite is the Polynesian in that price range. It FEELS isolated, but the train goes right past it and you can get to everything from there. And you can walk to the Grand Floridian health club and use it without additional charge.

  9. Floridian is really nice - for the rich folks! Convenient transportation.

I've stayed at Wilderness Lodge and Port Orleans - French Quarter.

Freebird is right about the Floridian. It feels uncomfortably swanky to me. Like you need to wear a tuxedo to the pool.

They DO have the best health club and spa, though. Stay somewhere else then go to the Floridian for a massage.

Port Orleans is nice, I agree. I was surprised that it was virtually as nice as the deluxe resorts at nowhere near the price.

Low budget? Pop Century isn't the Ritz, but it is nice.

Disney World has been doing specials lately where if you stay for 5 days, they throw in the food for free (Not the fancy food, of course).

  10. The Animal Kingdom lodge is nice, with the little animals out your window. It is not near anything except the Animal Kingdom, and that's a bus ride away itself.

Good news: It's quiet and peaceful. Bad news: It's out in the middle of nowhere, compared to the other resorts.

    Your call.
