I get requests to make this every year.. you can make a huge cake that goes with it but we found out over the years that its just as good to be served cold, with Animal Crackers or graham crackers for dippin.
B-Dub's Favorite Pumpkin "schmear"
1 tub cool whip
1 bar philly cream cheese
1/2 can pumpkin
1/2 tsp. pumpkin spice
3/4 cup pecan bits (give or take depending on how much you like nuts.)
1 cup confectioner sugar
Smoosh in a bowl w/ mixer until kinda smooth. The more room temp the cream cheese is, the easier it is..
