I am here to plead for help. We are still working with the Katina victims and after Rita hits there may be sooooo many more who find us here. We are in need of volunteers. Any time you can donate would be so valuable. We are still placing families in housing and have an "all-in-one" stop here at the church. I am multi tasking as we speak. At first there were so many volunteers here but now that the "crisis" has died down we are losing our help. The Bible said to ask the Lord of the harvest for the workers and I am now asking you to please come help us.

I'm on maternity bedrest, and can't help physically, but thought I'd get a few questions answered for others and give this thread a bump up for you.

We are located in Douglas County at 2990 Bright Star Rd Douglasville. Our phone # 770-942-6082.
We need volunteers throughout the day. We are open from 9am to 9pm. We need more evening hour volunteers.
The biggest need right now is $$. We are paying for the 1st months rent to ehlp people get into apts and houses. We are also providing medical care and fuel. Just about anything they need they can get here.
