I hope this has not been posted elsewhere, but the Walmart on Dallas Hwy had their turkeys .40 per lb this morning. They were on an endcap in the meat dept in one of the stand alone cases. Limit of 2 per person. I read online about some other Walmart locations doing this also. My mom got 2 this morning, but she said they were going fast!!

am I the only one that read that as Walmart was selling a 40 pound turkey? 
Before criticizing someone - walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them you are a mile away - and you have their shoes.

This could end up being a GREAT deal.
Turkey supplies this year are down 10% to 15% from last year. The industry was scared off by the grain prices from last year and cut production accordingly. I am afraid prices for Fresh turkeys are going to be really high.
