Mr. Ronnie "Cotton" Thorpe, Age 62 of Rockmart, Ga.
Passed away on Sunday November 1, 2009 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Mr. Thorpe was born on September 28, 1947 in Sweetwater, Tn.
to Mr. William Harvey Thorpe and Mrs. Mary Bell Plemons.

Mr. Thorpe was married to Mrs. Catherine Mahaffey Thorpe. They were married for 42 years.

Mr. Thorpe was employed as a superintendant in the construction business.

Services will be held on Wednesday November 4, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. from the Chapel of the Benson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Tibbitts and Rev. Jeremy Hicks officiating. Mr. Thorpe will be cremated following the service.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 3, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Cathy Thorpe of Rockmart, Ga.
Son, Mr. & Mrs. Shawn (Chasity) Thorpe of Dallas, Ga.
Grandchildren, Miss Mackenzie Thorpe, Peyton Thorpe and Baylee Thorpe
Mother, Mrs. Mary Thorpe of Dothan, Al.
Brother, Mr. Larry Thorpe of Dothan, Al.
Special Cousin, Mr. Randy Teague of Cartersville, Ga.
Several other Cousins, Nieces & Nephews.
