That Hiram game on Friday WAS unbelievable. Those Hornets hung in there and then came back with a vengence. I've heard Sprayberry is a good team but so are our Hornets!! But we need all the fans to come out to counter balance Sprayberry's home field advantage. Let's show those Jackets what team spirit really is via our great cheerleaders, our awesome band, and those LOUD Hornet fans! GO HORNETS!!!

Go Hornets!

We went to the NP v allatoona game last time and it was a great game. The stadium was bad though. So my question is if we go to the NP game this friday will we have to sit on the ground again or will there be bleachers to sit?

Raiders need another great game to get one step closer to a possible play-off bid! This would be the 4th consecutive play-off appearence!!!!! In state over the last 3 years is 6-3 with a Final 4, Elite 8, and a huge vitory over Milton in route to the Final 16 last year!! What a great run for Coach Reid and the Raiders!!! Good Luck guys!

Also good luck Hornets!! This will be your toughest test all year so I hope you are ready and win!! A win Friday will put you into the State-playoffs and at home for the first game regardless of the outcome next Friday. It also gives you a chance to be region champs.

I believe North will be close and hopefully South can beat Osborne. Way too much talent on that team to have struggled so much!! Rooting for you Spartans!!

Believe it or not Hillgrove-Paulding winner will have a chance for the state-playoffs. However, look for this to be tough for the Patriots. Hillgrove is a great team that will be nice and mad after two loses in the final minutes the last two weeks!! I am afraid this one might be ugly for my alma, but I believe anything can happen...

No you won't have to sit in the dirt. North Paulding has a great stadium with views of Kennesaw Mountain and Lost Mountain in the distance and a home side and visitor side unlike that joke of a stadium at Allatoona.

The Thursday after we played at Allatoona there was a JV game with Allatoona at North. Would you believe one of their fans had the nerve to complain that our visitor's side wasn't open for a JV game?

Oh no they didn't! ohmy.gif

While we were sitting in the dirt at their place, one of their loud mouthed fans gave my lil ole gray headed mother a lecture on sportsmanship because she tried to make a joke about how we were going to win.

Ya think anybody would mind if I set off some M80s under the visitor side bleachers tonight? ninja.gif

I believe NW Whitfield...It is either them or Sequoyah. The other plays Sprayberry for the other play-off spot. Hiram plays Dalton for the region Championship, and both of these schools already have berths in the state.
