There was 2 HUGE hills .. You thought you were at the top of the first hill but it just kept going lol! But I finished 6 mins over my goal but i finished so i was excited! Well I hope to see you for this race!

I think my goal would be to jog the entire distance and then finish! That's why I was wondering if this is on the trail or not. At least I know there are no huge hills!

My husband did that one! I was going to try it, but my son had a ballgame. It was his 2nd and he said it those hills were brutal! Kind of glad I skipped that one.

The great thing about this one is all levels are accepted!
Walkers are more than welcome and you will not be alone!
I beleive that they are delighted to have you even with a stroller and youngsters in tow.
It will be a time of fellowship for a great cause!!

It will start in our parking lot. On the corner of cleburne parkway and 278 (birdies and anerican body works). We will turn left on Cleburne Pkwy and then left on the trail head located on Cleburne Pkwy. We will then loop around and cross over Cleburne on Rosedale and pick up the trail on the trail head off of Rosedale. We will then track back to the office and end in the parking lot in the same place we began. I hope this helps. If there are any other questions please let me know. Thank you!

It is in Hiram, Ga in the Poplar Square shopping center. On the corner of Cleburne Pkay and 278. Last year was our second time hosting it and we had 200 runners. We already have more pre-registered this year and are expecting to have a good amount more people this year. Everything goes to Shpherds rest and everything helps. The first year we had about 100 runners, then the second year last year we had 200 runners. We are growing are expecting 300-350 runners this year. I hope this helps and I hope to see you on race day!

You are right! We do accept all levels! I myself as the office manager, will be running/jogging. I have been working on it and know I will not finish first but I am looking forwad to doing this for the victms of demestic violence. Thats all the motivation I need.
We are more than happy to have people with strollers. Dr. Dan actually ran with his little girl last year and pushed her throught the finish line before him and she beat him. It was adorable!
It will be a time of fellowship and it is a great time. I look forward to seeing the community come together for this huge event!!! Please let me know if there are any questions I can help anyone with.
