(When I was a child, my daddy had picked a dish pan full, sliced them and sugared them down in the frig. Guess who found them and ate them ALL??? Ouch...was I in trouble or what??? LOL.)

Fresh chilled strawberries
small bowl of cold sour cream
small bowl of light brown sugar
Take a fresh strawberry.
Dip it into sour cream, then dip into brown sugar.
Eat.
If you've never tried strawberries like this, you have NO IDEA what you're missing. They are SO good.

I like my strawberries all ways! I love them!
But I will say that I enjoy them best plain and at room temperature. The flavor is just not as full if they are chilled (but I'll eat 'em anyway!)

Great now I am craving strawberries.
I like mine with other fruit. They add a nice sweetness to cantaloupe and other melons that I really enjoy.

I got some VERY good strawberries at Publix yesterday. They are on sale this week. I got one of the big containers. I just eat them plain. My daughter likes hers with powder sugar on them, and my son likes his with regular sugar. I don't think they have ever tried them any other way.
The entire pack of strawberries were gone within 10 minutes of me capping them. They never last long in my house.
