Awesome game Hornets, the Hornets was down by 13 points and came back with a vengence. The dual quarterbacks were awesome, the running backs were fast as hell and the defense got in their groove and stopped the number one running back in the state. You guys did an awesome job. We are proud of you. This is going to be an exciting season for the Hornets. Get your popcorn ready!!!!

What on Earth are you talking about? The best running back in the state is from ECI, Washaun Ealey. Washingtons running back is not even currently ranked.

Congrats on the win Hornets!!

They didn't have the top rated RB, but they did have one of the top rated CBs that is nationally ranked. Alot of good that does if he is on the field all day long. After his touchdown, he had a couple of nice runs but that was about it. The defense kept the QB in check. I believe we could have thrown the ball all day long if the coaches wanted to. Other than their top ranked CB, the other side was a complete mismatch.

Whatever, bball I forgot you are the sports expert. Sorry, # 1 is the best cornerback in the state, whatever he is we still shut him down. There you go already trying to steal Hirams thunder like you did last basketball season. Hiram did an outstanding job against Washington. Nobody picked them to win, and they did. It was predicted that Hiram would loose by 9 points . They worked their butts off to come back from being down by 13 points. Everyone is going to be in for a shock this year, Hiram has a great team, we have two quarterbacks that can throw the ball and that is going to help. The defense will have to work out a few kinks but overall they are a good solid football team. Good luck Hiram the rest of the season. Get your popcorn ready.

THis thread is about Hiram. Why can't those other fans just let Hiram enjoy a little success? I mean, how often do we get the chance without hearing about that other team?

That schedule sets up nicely for Hiram, its a pretty light schedule. They should be favored in the remainder of their games. Should be a great season for the Hornets as long as they take care of business. Big win tonight for the Hornets, congrats boys.

Way to give a back handed compliment. rolleyes.gif

And Subby, that's what we've always called the girls who help out the football teams--trainers. I've never heard them referred to as anything else. I know they aren't *the* trainer on the team, but that's the term I've always heard. If it's something else, I don't know. unknw.gif

A tad over sensitive aren't we?....

Congradulations Hiram on a great win over NW Whitfield.

And no, that "other team" did not play last night.
