If anyone might have any for sale, we're looking for Basic College Mathmatics (8th Ed.) and Film Art an Introduction (8th Ed).

I always use Direct Textbook.com . It's a clearinghouse for textbooks and will give you the price from all the internet stores so you can find the lowest.
Half.com is listed there, but they haven't always been the lowest for me.
For speed, though, some of them offer overnight.

The Math is Math 097, or Math 111. The ISBN# 0-618-50305-6
The other is Digital Media Technology 101. ISBN# 0-07-353506-0
Thanks, I will check them out.

Yes, and also there is a textbook rental place close to Kennestone as well. But the good thing about the General Book store (across from KSU) is they will buy your books back at 1/2 the new price (even if you buy it used) as long as a professor will be using it the next semester.

yes, but I would call ahead first and make sure they carry that book, b/c they typically only carry what KSU will be using, maybe a few extras.

unfortunately, in the world of college texts, usually your options are going to be:
1. pay full price at the campus bookstore
2. get discounted books online and wait a week or so for shipping
3. check the campus bulletin boards for students with books for sale
i usually plan ahead and know what i am taking next semester and order the books online. After taking the course, i then sell it back thru half.com or amazon used, etc for the same or more, and my net cost for texts is $0. Be careful during summer and fall terms, that is when the new book versions come out. If there is a question about a new version or which version being used, i email the instructor and find out which book he/she plans to use.
directtextbook.com is ok, but i have had better luck with ebay, allbookstores.com, abebooks.com, & amazon's used section for texts.
