There was a thread recently about flat iron steak. I've been unsuccessful in locating it. Anybody have suggestions on the best way to prepare?

Thanks! Seems that grilling is the best preparation.

I discovered this cut at kroger, while it was on sale. Bought and have bought several since. I grill mine on the grill yummy!! My daughter used her inside table grill and said it was good too. It's a very tender meat.

It's tender as long as you don't overcook it. I do about 6 min. per side on the barbie and 8 min. total on the George Foreman grill. The ones I got at Kroger have a spicy southwestern rub that I've used and adapted.
Sorry, I don't take guilt trips. I already travel too much as it is..
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons....For you are crunchy & good with ketchup!
Oh, but please, don't let the facts get in the way of your opinion.

I love this cut of meat! We have only grilled it using different rubs (the SW one on the pkg is really good) and it comes out awesome every time.
I have seen them at Publix but Kroger always has a better selection and the price is better.
