My son will be 4 in February and I would really like to get him signed up for t-ball. Can someone please tell me where he would be eligible this year, as well as cost and dates of registration? Thanks so much!

If you live anywhere near Powder Springs, I think they have the best T-Ball program around. smile.gif

Registration is usually the first few weekends in January. www.powderspringsyouthbaseball.com

It is now the Hiram Hornets. I am not sure if they have for little people or not. We started both of our boys out at 3. Powder Springs is nice because all of the games are there and you don't have to run all over the county to play ball. For the little ones, they usually practice once a week and then the games are usually on Saturday at 9:00, 10:00 or 11:00.

If you go to that park---get everything in writing. We got totally ripped off last year. Highest price around and we only played about 4 games---and they were a joke. 2 or 3 practices ALL SEASON. We totally wasted our money.

Which park? Powder springs or California? We haven't played at California in years, the last my oldest played at New Hope for softball....

Taylor Farm and Mt. Tabor Parks are reserved for girls softball in the spring.

The community parks (New Ga., New Hope, Dallas, Yorkville, Ridge Rd., Burnt Hickory, Union, Hiram, and California) are mainly for baseball with a few exeptions of travel softball teams. All of these parks will be holding baseball sign ups over the next few Satudays in January. The costs will vary from park to park. Most of the parks will offer the following age groups: Tiny Tots (3&4), Tee Ball (5&6), Farm (7&8), Minors (9&10), Freshman (11&12) and Sophmore (13&14).

Also, there should be ads in the next few weeks editions of the Dallas New Era and the Paulding Neighbor papers with directions, information and prices on each of the parks' programs.

point of note here about Dallas (aka Sara Babb).
Tiny tot (where a 3 yr. old will play) is only $65!!!
All other registrations at this park are $95!!!
