In 200 words or less, write what do you miss most about old mean Paulding.com.
These contest entries are stand alone and should not be answered. Second, while all rules apply to the entries and no personal attacks will be tolerated, there is one 'identity' that can be pummelled mercilessly.
That identity is known solely as "Leardear" and that identity will be created as a popo. As far as 'who' leardear is ... I suspect that s/he might be a multiple personality ... but leardear takes a lot but I suspect s/he can dish it out so be careful.
I will choose a few folks as judges for this effort. Obviously the folks I choose will not have entered.

I'll be off line for a while so let me sum up.
write an essay of 200 words or less what you miss most about the old mean paulidng.com.
In it you may not attack another and must follow all rules EXCEPT you can attack mercilessly the identity Leardear.
that's it. I'll be opening a new topic in a moment in which you can place your entries.
Oh deadline is Friday night at midnight.

Vocatus, atque non vocatus, deus aderit.
They may see the good you do as self serving.
Continue to do good.
They may see your generosity as grandstanding.
Continue to be generous.
They may see your warm and caring nature as weakness.
Continue to be warm and caring.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and [your] God
it was never between you and Them anyway. - author unknown

I already asked that in the other thread.

Alternate signature available for those under 3 and right wing conservatives.
Why does it have to be political correctness? Why can't it just be common courtesy?
If Tylenol, duct tape, or a band aid can't fix it... you've got a serious problem!

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

My entry:
Hey, what do I miss about mean ole Pubby’s site;
Not a day went by without knowing, there was a fight
Now I sit and stare; wonder at words,
Not knowing what to say, or what I heard
Somewhere deep down inside;
I miss the old days, when thoughts collide
Now a contest has been hatched and born;
Is something up or has Pubby’s pants torn?
He tells us to spell out why, only 200 words or less;
So I sit here and wonder will this become a mess?
So should someone like me spell it out or will I pout;
Because somewhere along the line, I may be out.
Who is this LadyDear that I may lash out at, or should I surmise?
What the heck, it’s a contest with premium membership as a prize.

I miss how "real" the old Pcom was....where people didn't always agree and everything wasn't all perfect. Deep down in all the anger and hatred there was love.....certain people disliked each other but at the same time if someone needed help people would come together to help that person if they liked em or not. Sure people disagreed but thats life. Being real is much better than being fake and being what you aren't.

Gosh, why not?
One thing I've come to understand as a writer is that you always write what you want.

PS: I remember being assigned to write an essay on why I like my sugar sweet. What did this essay end up being about? Kissing girls of course.
