20 Questions $20.00 Meltid WINS! You'll never guess what it was!

Here's a little 'board game' that we can play.

It's called Twenty Questions for $20.00.

The winner is the person who is the FIRST to post the response in this thread.

When 20 questions have been asked, the clues end but the guessing can continue for up to five days. If the correct answer is not given in that time, the contest ends and we can do another.

I'll answer questions as time allows (I do have reply notification enabled) so please be patient. (I have a life).

If there are a slew of questions, I'll eliminate duplicates so that if two posters ask the same question, that will count as only one question. I'll number the answers as we go.

I've also put the answer in a 'safe' place that will be revealed if the consensus of the members is that this is too hard.

Payment to the winner will be via paypal or, if the user prefers and has provided their mailing address in their paulding.com profile, by business check.

You do have to be registered to post to this forum. If you can't post, you can't win. I think that will do it for the rules. Good luck!

I'm thinking of something in Paulding. What is it?

Is it animal or mineral?

Sandydog,

Believe it or not, that is a hard question. It is not an animal, like a dog is an animal but then it is made up of animals and it wouldn't exist if there weren't 'animals' or at least living beings.

Still, while 'animals' are essential to its makeup, the exact thing ittself, is more than an animal and requires things to be what it is.

So I guess you could say that it is both an animal and mineral.

I hope that helps.

It is not a person, it is not a place so I suppose you could call it a thing. That's three questions; 17 to go.

Oh, It is definitely bigger than a breadbox. I will add, depending on where it is, it even changes size but it never, ever, is as small as a breadbox.

Is it the "Paulding County Humane Society"?

If not, is it touchable?

Thanks,

No, it is not the Paulding County Humane Society.

But is it touchable?

I'd say it is touchable ... i.e. you can touch it but actually it is more than just touchable. Certainly, like the feet already disclosed, parts of it can also touch other objects, even people.

But this thing I'm thinking of, can touch other things in ways more than just a physical foot on ground way.

Yes, it is an organization of 'some type'

If my count is correct, that was the 6th question asked leaving 13 more.

Sorry, no cigar. Not yet anyway. But this group, like the one you suggested, is highly sensitized to the concept of movement.

Do they wear little hats with tassles on them, and stand on the street corners collecting money? If they do, is it the Paulding County division of the Shriners? The Joppa Temple Shrine?

The don't have little hats and I certainly don't think of them as having tassles.

It is not the Shriners although I have to admit that was a not just a good guess; but a great guess.

No it is not the Kiwanians. Don't the Kiwanians wear vests like the Shriners? That should beg the next question.

Individually, some of the drive cars but some don't. As a general rule, they either sit or get about by foot.

My count is that 11 have been asked leaving nine left to ask.

It does seem a little premature as far as giving up but with that many questions left, it would seem someone would ask one.

Ok...I went back and counted and I think this next question is question number 11.
Is it the Paulding County division of the Red Cross-Blood Drive? If not........

Referring back to the "vest" hint..........

11. If any, what type of clothing does this thing or organization wear? (please give colors if possible). huh.gif

12. Are there any liquids of any sort? blink.gif

Kids come first:

They wear snazzy clothes and they are alike with brass buttons and the like. Colors would be a different question BTW so I'll not be specific)

As to the question of liquids; let me be delicate. There is a liquid that gums up some of the machinery but is released through what is commonly known as a spit valve. Of course this impacts only a portion of the overall.
