Wondering if anyone here can help me or point me in a new direction. I'm looking for part-time temporary or contract admin or clerical work in the Dallas/Hiram area. I have over 10 years of experience in this field, so can take pretty much whatever's thrown at me and run with it.
I'm also looking SPECIFICALLY for writing and editing experience, if anyone has a project they need help with, i.e. web content, thesis, brochures, manuals, etc. I have a degree in Written Communication and have broad work experience: correspondence, forms, newsletters, research proposals, etc.
I appreciate any ideas you may have!

We have 5 home schooled children aged 7-17. They are mostly independent, but need guidance during the day with their school work from time to time. We're looking for someone to be available 9ish-1ish each day Monday-Thursday. You don't need a master's degree, but you're going to have to at least understand how to help with some Algebra (we have teacher's guides and text books) and you're going to need to have a decent grasp of grammar. This is a pretty cushy gig, as the kids are GVA students with online support and full text books, as well as being well mannered (not to mention fun, dirtbike riding, reef snorkeling, breaking our backs snow boarding, travel junkie kind of people). We are not religious zealots, our kids are just enrolled in a virtual school program because our local schools are over crowded and lead by morons. If you are easily offended, this job might not be for you (as I point back to the religious zealot comment and note that while we're almost as big as the Brady Bunch, we're more like the Adams Family - Polite, but barely acceptable for stuffy social occasions).
We're in Acworth (Bentwater). The pay is flexible depending on applicant and circumstances.

MacFarlane's Olde Towne Grille is now hiring servers, bartenders, hostesses, and kitchen staff. Our hours of operation are lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday, brunch, lunch, and dinner on Sundays. All shifts are needed.
