Well, here we are at the end of the season and I could be ugly about things the same way some of you folks were toward us on our web page after y'all beat us (Dobbins), but I'm not going to that level.

CONGRATULATION AUSTIN EAGLES!!!
Great job this year ladies, you all were very competitive all year long and seem to have a lot of fun in the process. You girls hit the ball hard for the last two days and put up a good fight. You all should be proud to be the first Sports team in Austin's short history to finish the season with a winning record and that's something to take pride in, you girls are great!!!

Congratulations!!!

Your friend,
Softball Dad

Yes, Congrat to the Austin Lady Eagles on your first season. I am not sure specifically what the poster is talking about but I will say that there is no place for bad sportsmanship in middle school sports or at ANY level.

D.D. I think Softball Dad brought some hard feelings on early with his post

http://www.paulding.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=32303&hl=

Then when Austin beat Dobbins a few were more than happy to let him know.

Just let the young ladies play ball, have fun and their play will speak for themselves.

Oh yes, I remeber that thread. It was kind of presumptuos.

nicely said softball dad....
way to come back in the end girls and show them what you are made of and not to take some losses sitting down.& way to show those other teams that just because it's a first time team doesn't mean you don't know what your doing out there!& an awsome job with your sportsmanship!!way 2 go austin!!

...nicley done! can't wait to c the next bunch of girls coming up next year!
& can't wait to see you other girls in basket ball or soccer!!
