It's on the side of a major thoroughfare. I'm sure law enforcement already knows about it.

If they could afford to buy a lot of stuff, there's nothing illegal about selling a lot of stuff.

Maybe some of those furnishings should be acquired to decorate the common areas of the tunnel system? ninja.gif

It used to look very junky around it. It was a real dark wood house. Someone came in and really fixed it up. It was for sale on ebay a couple of months ago, for around 1 mil if I remember correctly.

What if it's haunted? Maybe by a Civil War soldier? They marched through that area near Pickett's Mill ya know! Spooky!

Anyway, I always get a weird feeling when I pass by it ohmy.gif

I showed the house 2 years ago...it's not all that impressive.

It's big but the floor plan was very poorly thought out and the workmanship that I saw at that time was bad.

It was a very old house or trailer that was added on to several times.

I watched them working on it in the early mega_shok.gif's. The story I heard was that a man was building it for his wife. One day, she was pulling out of the driveway and was killed in an accident. The work stopped on it for YEARS. Then someone began dressing it up and using the light colored stucco instead of the cedar that they had started with.

I liked it as a cedar house, but to each his own.

I always thought it looked kind of like a Colombian drug lord's house...sort of like guys dressed in black should be on the rood wiht Uzis.
It has certainly gone though some changes. Maybe there's a curse on it, kind of like the Winchester mansion in Massachussetts, you know, as long as you live there you have to keep building on to it/changing it. Hey, it makes a good story, anyway. smile.gif

I understand he buys storage units that are in default and being auctioned off. It would certainly explain the vast array of items.

I know some people who live behind there and remember when the owner started remodeling. I have always loved that house and got to see the inside. I was amazed at what it really looked like. I think that the reason it doesnt sale is b/c the floor plan isnt really livable.
The postings you may read may not always be the thoughts of both owners..

WhiteStoneEstates, are you the owner of this house? If you are, why don't you give us the scoop? That way there would not be any speculation on what it USED to be or why people think that strange things are happening.

The listing on Ebay was "White Stone Estates". So I will assume the owner is watching.

I remember when the house was brown. I remember when they started adding on to it and upgrading the outside. I thought that the house was beautiful when it was completed. I worked for a man that wanted to buy it a few years ago, but he said that the price was way too much for what the house actually was (around $650,000 or something) and walked away from it.

Over the past year or so, the house has gotten trashy looking. I'm not sure what's going on in there, but something has to be up. All kinds of vehicle and junk in the yard.....I guess if he buys out storage buildings that could be the reason, but clean it up a little.

You know it's funny this is on here. Everytime I go past there I tell my son It's gonna be my house one day. Ever since it was fixed up I have loved that house. I think it is an awesome house. I need to win the lottery and buy it. Then I'll invite everyone over to see it.

As for the original intnet/question of this thread ... the people who live there (at least one of them anyway) are "junk dealers". That stuff that was for sale came from foreclosed storage units, etc.

I understand you’re being upset about finding your home and business under scrutiny by a bunch of nosy people on a forum. It’s absolutely no ones business, but I don’t think anyone really meant anything by their comments with the exception of those that were never taught any manners. You just have to overlook some folks. If you chose to frequent Paulding.com, you will see that it is just a close knit community who looks out for their neighbors. Your house and the business have been a mystery for sometime. Thank you for clearing a few things up and I hope to see you around.

BTW…Paulding.Com maybe good for your business.

Jamie
