The school or PTA gets 10cent for each
box top. Most elementary schools and some middle schools collect them.

Make sure the school has somebody who is actually doing something with them.

There have been reports in the past where schools have 'collected' the boxtops because it was easier than saying no and people sent them in anyway. The problem was that they didn't have anybody who wanted to take the time required to redeem them, so they ended up being thrown away.
Who is John Gault? - He's the successful business owner who didn't want to play by the new 'Law of the Land' so he closed up shop, packed up his stuff and left. He was joined by many other successful business owners who did the same. They stayed away until the government begged them to return and repealed the law.

I know the person who redeems them for Poole Elementary, so if you do not have a student in Paulding but would like to donate box tops, Poole would gladly accept them!

New Georgia and Nebo also accepts them. You can also earn extra boxtops through the box tops for education website.

ok ... we see that lots of schools accept but I've got questions and I'm sure not the only one :D

What if you don't have a child at one of these schools?
What is the procedure to bring in your saved tops to your nearest (or favorite) school? Turn them in to the first person you see walking in the door?
What is the timeframe to bring them in (once a month, once a year, etc ...)? Do these "tops" expire?

It doesn't matter if you have a kid in the school or not...you can drop them off up front and they will get it to the right person. I know different people at different schools get them. At Moses Middle all Box Tops goes to the Library but at Northside Elementary it goes to the PTA and they have a drop box in the lobby for them. You can drop them off anytime, at Northside they do a quarterly contest but Box Tops only cuts checks twice a year so you can really drop them off anytime that is convenient for you. Hope this helps. :)

Not anymore. From what I heard the new principal took them from the library and now they go to the PTA. Either way you can leave them with the front office and they will get them to the correct people.

In addition to the schools mentioned, W.C. Abney also takes them.

You should be able to take them into any school and leave them office personnel who will get them to the right person- PTA, etc.
