Breaking Bad in Buchanan: 3.5lb of meth seized by DTF Agents of the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force, along with The PCSO SWAT, K-9 units from Pauldling and Dallas, and Haralson County Deputies confiscated 3.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine valued at $90,000 from a farm in Buchanan. The PCSO SWAT Team made entry into the residence just before dawn without incident. After an extensive search of the 19 acre property and residence was completed by the Haralson-Paulding Drug Tassk Force agents and K-9 Units. It was during this search that approximately three and one half pounds of Crystal Methamphetamine, along with a firearm were located. Two were arrested in the August 1st incident including Kevin Womack, 52, and Denise Powell, 48, both presumed to be of 1155 Rainey Lake Road in Buchanan in Haralson County. Womack was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, trafficking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Ms. Powell was arrested for possession and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The two arrests are the culmunation of an 18-month investigation by the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force which was assisted by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit and United States Drug Enforcement Administration.

As a mother of a child who was addicted to meth, I am so thankful that another dealer is off the streets. Meth is pure evil!!

AMEN to that !!!! I live in Haralson County and the things that goes on in the county is bad I think because it is such a rural area

This guy I went to highschool with was always taking drugs after school. He just posted a pic of him yesterday and he looks awful. He is for sure on meth.So skinny, white as a ghost, horrible skin, his face looks longer, teeth look weird. So very sad. He was always so cute and such a nice guy. It really destroys peoples lives and those around them.

Meth is some dangerous stuff. They need to shoot the drug pushers and send a message!
