A friend gave me some figs which are very tasty. What is the best thing to do with figs (other than cram them in my face)?

look up a recipe for fig "puddin" which is actually a cooked fig mixture and and bisquick type mixture. It is baked; served warm. OMG!!

Fig preserves.

I've made 16 pints already.

I won't be making anymore this year unless someone gives them to me. I picked some last Saturday and now I am covered with poison ivy rash. That's what I get for not paying attention.

They are great dehydrated for munching later.

I've never tried them that way. Do you half them first or just dehydrate them whole? Are they still moist like prunes or are they super dry like apple chips? Thanks for the idea.
