I have looked at the BOE site for the dress code, but I cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone know where to find the dress code? I want to read it before I go school shopping.

Thanks.

I just read through that, wouldn't it be less confusing to just have them all wear uniforms.

I didn't find it confusing but uniforms may better if worn properly following the guidelines.

KWood, We are originally from Paulding (born and raised). We moved to Polk about 7 years ago and last year their dress code became ridiculous. The boys HAD to wear polo shirts and ONLY polo shirts. The students could not wear any clothing with ANY kind of designer insignia that could be seen. NO t-shirts of any kind were allowed. Nothing with ANY kind of pictures (bookbags, etc.) They even told the kids what kind of jackets and coats were acceptable. Paulding's dress code is a LOT better than what I had to deal with last year.

I notice they have changed it a bit for this school year.

BTW, It is GREAT to be back home!!

Confusing isn't the right wording, I guess it just seems overly complex. It's just sad that parents and children have to be told what is and is not appropriate to wear to school.

Yes, yes it is. But, apparently there are still some that will do everything they can to try to get around the rules.
