Mr. Charles Hicks was born on February 16, 1959 to loving parents Mr. & Mrs. Jerry (Anne Crowe) Hicks. He worked as a psychological therapist with the Department of Family and Children’s Services. He loved playing the drums and reading. He also enjoyed auto repair, building, and carpentry.
Charles is survived by his daughter Mr. & Mrs. William Skyler (Olivia Joy Danielle) Lewis, of Bremen, GA; one son Mr. Zachariah Joshua Hicks of Cedartown, GA; three grandchildren Joshua Lewis, Bella Lewis, and Maddi-Kate Lewis, with a fourth grandchild on the way; his loving father Mr. Jerry Hicks of Dallas, GA; aunts, uncles, and other beloved family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Anne Hicks who passed away in 2008, and two brothers Mr. Jerry Daniel Hicks, and Mr. Terry Wayne Hicks.
Funeral services for Mr. Charles Hicks will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 2 pm.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 5 – 8 pm and Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 9 am until the time of service.
