I was outside with my dog yesterday and some man was walking up the road, she barked at him like normal dogs do NOT even going near him... he came towards her & PEPPER SPRAYED HER IN HER FACE!!!!.... I took her to the vet & they gave her eye drops for her eyes & washed the rest of her face... hes a older man about 50-60yrs old..... white male...

the bad part was HE CAME INTO MY YARD to spray her.. she did NOT leave our yard... I mean what kind of person does that??

so this is a warning to all dog owners in the Highway 61 area near Lawrence Junction Trailer Park!!!!

So we know what you did for your dog, but did you say anything to the man? Did he say anything to you? I would've called the cops.

Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

Daily Thought: SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES. NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it Just pee on it and walk away.

Say prayers for the person who walks into my yard and sprays my dog with pepper spray.. You will see a PUBBY story on "man has 14 Doctors trying to dislodge pepper Spray bottle out of his rectum at this moment", Problem is that they must remove Halo 2's size 13 out of his GAPER prior too...

What nads this dude has.. I would be in jail quick like.

If someone did that to my dogs, I would beat the sheeze out of him, and returned the favor by spraying him with it. And if he tried to spray me, he'd be SOL, pepper spray doesn't really bother me other than a slight discomfort.
I fantasize about my dogs having jobs. I pretend that both of them are window cleaners and their kennel is their first starter home. I think the bigger dog is trying to bump off the smaller dog so he can have the kennel to himself. I know I have a problem, but don't animals have to earn a living too?

Dogs may not be our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.

A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.

The more I see of humans, the more I admire dogs.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

The dog is a gentleman, I hope to go to his heaven, not man's.

I would be in jail too! But on a side note Wasp spray is just as effective(or so I am told) as pepper spray. And you can spray the attacker from a distance with a wider spray I keep some in my car for either wasp or muggers. LOL

So your dog was just doing what most dogs do, barking at someone walking by and the man walked IN TO your yard to spray the dog? Wouldn't that be considered trespassing and I wonder what sort of laws he broke by spraying the dog, considering animals are property. Hmmm, just wondering how far one could take that in a court of law. Have your water hose handy and ready the next time the old fart walks by, in case he tries it again. Have a camera ready too.
So you're not from the South, that's okay, you got here as fast as you could.

I didnt SEE him spray her but she acted funny so I called the vet & they said what I described sounded just like pepper spray so I took her to the vet to let them look & he smelled of her nose & sure enough It WAS pepper spray... I DID call the cops, they're looking for him & she was using the bathroom & only barked ONCE at him, she did not leave OUR YARD.. he came into our yard towards her to spray her....

Pepper spray hurts like hell, even if ingesting a small amount. When working in ATL, there was a disturbance in the hallway and an officer sprayed pepper spray to disperse the crowd. I breathed a small amount and it was painful. If someone did that to my animal unprovoked, I'd be pissed.

Just to play devil's advocate....if you didn't see it, how could you know she didn't leave the yard? Trust me, I'd be the neighbor who held him down for you. But you need to make absolutely sure that your baby didn't do something to frighten him. Did someone see this? I like to have solid proof, then he better watch his back!

No one loves animals more than my family - but the amount of RUN TO THE POLICE, GO TO COURT responses just does not correlate to the number of jackholes in Dallas that drop their dogs off in any rural spot when they are done being petowners - that do not spay or neuter - and on and on...........
