Does anybody else use the Opera Mini browser on your mobile phone or other device? I've been using it for nearly two years but today discovered that P'com is now blocking it. I'm wondering if pubby put a block on IPs or something because regardless of what link I click on, I get an error message:

Opera Mini is different from other mobile browsers because Mini routes all data through Opera's servers. The data is then compressed before being sent to you, therefore providing faster downloads and lowering your mobile bandwidth usage.

There are some foreign servers that are blocked. If you can give me the IP of the server that is causing issues, I'll see what I can do.

PS: I'm having issues myself with a portion - only a portion mind you - of the flash content not showing up since I updated to the latest version of flash today.

It is really weird.

Thanks pubby. The IP address that I got in Opera Mini is 141.0.8.208 but I don't know how static it is.

November Rain:

Yes, all IPs in the range 141.0.*.* were blocked. I had just added that block in May ... and it may have been in error due to someone registering with that Opera mini IP and me seeing it was from Europe and denying it ... and adding the block.

We'll see if works out in the future okay.
