June is National Microchip Month. We are offering 20% off microchipping for your pets
National Microchip Month is here at Dallas Highway Animal Hospital. It's so easy to lose track of a pet. Shelters are already overcrowded so lost pets can only be kept a short period of time. Meanwhile, owners are frantically spending time and money trying to find them. Does this make any sense? No one wants this to happen. More pets die because their owners didn't identify them than from all infectious diseases combined.
It's quick and pain-free for your pet. The chip is put under the skin and contains whatever contact information you want to put on it through your registration. It looks like a tiny piece of rice. A microchip contains a personal, one-of-a-kind identification number which distinguishes your pet as a special member of your family. There's no need for sedation because it fits through a hypodermic needle and is given just like a vaccination.
By Microchipping, you provide your pet with the most comprehensive and sophisticated safety-net of protection available. When your lost pet is found, you or your designated alternate will be contacted. Scanners are used at veterinary offices, shelters and animal control. The dedication and commitment of shelter personnel makes our system work. They are directly responsible for the recovery of thousands of lost pets. These shelter professionals are truly heroes!!

I would like to know this as well. I have 3 kitties (if my Xion comes home) and a doggie that I need to have microchipped ASAP

On the flip side, your price is better than that of another area vet, so kudos for that!
