Melissa uses her gardeners bench 4 or 5 hours a week, potting up seedlings, transplanting herbs and other plants, and with her orchids and tropicals as well as tomatoes, etc.
And it is convienent for her to have all her tools, ferilizer, pots, potting soil, etc., right where she needs them, protected from the weather and at her fingertips.

Southernscarlett, I like those. Do you ever post at gardenweb.com/? They have a lot of different forums. Here's a link to their garden junk forum. I like to see what people come up with:

I like that, too. It looks well made. I look at the forums at the gardenweb website and some blogs for inspiration for something I might make. What about you? I'm thinking about making some flowers out of cold porcelain. Have you tried making anything with that?

I've been dabbling in acrylic on canvas. I always loved to draw and it makes me happy.
I do better with abstract than I do with "real" subjects though. I can't do people or animals at all.
I can however draw a mean cartoon!
This is a copy of a sort of "pop art" poster on canvas that I did for someone who is into that.
If you look closely, Buddha seems to bear an uncanny resemblance to Marlon Brando in The Godfather.
