District 31 Race heats up The debate last night at the Chamber Offices seemed almost tame compared to the news that emerged today regarding allegations of the leading local candidate for Senate District 31 should be disqualified because of residency issues and more. The germane portion of the debate, in regard these issues, comes with the first question which is about 13 minutes into this debate video. The debate is carried as it happened except that we had a technical issue with a cameras (the batteries just couldn't go longer than 1:30 minutes, leaving us with only partial coverage of the closing statements. As these closing statements did not break new ground, we chose - in the interest of fairness - to cut the statements of all three in their entirety rather than show portions, some of which had substandard sound. Our apologies for the technical issues.
