All are spoken for, but they are at their cutest...and it is looking like my girls might be up for adoption...cause the lady will no longer respond to my messages/emails.
Russian Blue, Male.
Girls. Black Berkshire (white belly and paws) and a hooded Agouti/Mink (not sure which one)
They are adorable. I need to get more updated pictures in case someone does back out. I do NOT want anymore and they are getting very easy to get attached to.
Eyes opened up yesterday. Unlike hamsters and gerbils... rats aren't likely to bite a human. I have only gotten bit once and it was because I had no idea she was giving birth when I tried to pet her. Hell I would have bit me too. Even then, she didn't break the skin. My Teddybear Hamster will bite me for no reason at all other than she wants too. XD
They are being handled daily. If you are interested in adopting, pm me. <3 I can add you to the list. There are four more not yet pictured. 1 mink capped, 1 black capped, 1 mink hooded (trying really bad NOT to keep...he was the first to open his eyes), and one that is either bad black (gray) or blue capped.

They are very cute. XD they have grown on me. If I can find a home for the Agouti girl I am going to try to keep the black female. <3

...........but we're all sqeamish!
I know . Most people are. I was the same way until I got my first boys.
Actually owning one has pretty much gotten rid of any of the harsh stereotypes that I used to believe.

I had 2 rats a few years ago, John Denver & willie Nelson. They are much better pets than hamster, and quite smart. I worked at a pet store for about a year, I was bitten by numerous hamsters, not one rat. I don't want one I just wanted to put in my 2 cents.
today is tomorrow's yesterday.
If they laugh at you because you're different, laugh at them because they're all the same.

Yeah. I have a Teddy Bear Hamster that bites every time you pick it up. I would much rather have a rat than a hamster.

My sister had two. Mortimer and Jezebel .
You're right, much more gentle than hamsters or even ferrets. Clean, when domesticated. They make very good pets.
smb90, those are all so adorable. Unfortunately our cats (one of whom is extraordinarily intelligent, and can open doors and cages) would make quick work of them. I hope you can place them in good homes!
