Sounds like you may lose trust in him here in about a week.

I will never lose trust in him.
We will wait for his reply and I will support him the whole way.
He has the best interest of our children in his heart and I know that this will be cleared up soon.
I am in no way saying anything negative about his opponent. I am sure that she is a great woman but my support is for Mr.Crist.

I just find this strange to come out at this time.. I mean why didn't this come out sooner? Crist was a commerce member on here for a period of time.
Let me say this: I have never met Ron Crist, never used the roofing company he is associated with. with that being said I do not believe in hanging someone until the other side is heard. and he may have been advised not to comment on here.

I agree. This matter should be left between the Board of Elections and Mr. Crist. Please keep my name out of it. I have had quite enough ugly politics.
ANY voter has the right to challenge ANY candidate's qualification for ANY elected position. Not sure why my name needed to be mentioned twice in the article

Paulding isn't a big place...perhaps Chainsaw or one of his acquaintances was familiar with Crist's Cobb residence which, of course, would raise a red flag considering he's running for Paulding office...much moreso when that tidbit of information falls into the hands of a guy who is apparently well-qualified to investigate.

The only reason it matters is because he is running for a position that requires Paulding county residency. Nobody would have cared where he lives otherwise.

Here is the secretary of state's listing for Crist Roofing and Construction of Hiram: http://corp.sos.stat...Corp.asp?276233
It lists the principal office as:
4120 JIMMY LEE SMITH PKWY
SUITE C
HIRAM GA 30141
For those who wondered:
Here is the letter that Chainshaw dropped off at the Board of Elections:
Quote
I have been aware of Mr. Crist and his business through years of participating in business networking groups. When I heard about his candidacy, it struck me as odd that a known Cobb County businessman would be running for a Paulding County BOE seat.
I strongly suspect that Mr. Crist is willfully misleading the voters of Paulding County into believing that he is a resident of their county.
The residence he has listed at Dallas Street in Hiram is a stated non-owner occupied home, a rental. I also find it hard to believe t hat he is moving into a $34,000 rental home, while his home-based business is still running out of his large home in Cobb County.
I have physically observed and have spoken to local residents who have also physically observed him residing in the same home that he has owned in Cobb county for many years. I have also observed that there are people residing in his listed property in Hiram that are not Mr. Crist.
I have attached some evidence of his Cobb County residency for review. I have also made some suggestions as to further evidence that can be acquired.
Please formally investigate this allegations.
"Chainshaw (Pcom member)"
I should add that I use Chainshaw as the name not because it is secret ... his name is a public record on the filing and is relatively well known ... but because I want to make sure when others in the media report this story, they actually get the story from the Elections bureau, not just lift it off the site. Or those in the media can PM me if they want to ask
pubby
PS: LR ... I think his letter pretty much sums it up why he looked at him critically. He knew Ron Crist as a Cobb County businessman and from the info I got from him in an interview about this, he has known some of his Cobb County neighbors for a long time. Generally speaking I know a lot of folks were surprised that Crist chose to run for this position as his community involvement has generally not been focused on the Paulding schools.
Notably, my initial story failed to point out that Chainshaw1 asserts that Crist's voter registration was no changed to the Paulding County address until less than one week prior to qualifying for office.
Chainshaw also cited legal obstacles to his obtaining formation that could be subpoenaed by Board of Elections such as the candidates drivers license, vehicle registration and voting record. Utility bills for the Dallas Street in Hiram address might have a name listed on them that could establish length of residency as well as usage since the property was purchased.
Most of the 'evidence' are pictures of the residences in question.
Of course the key bit of info is the declaration he gave asserting his residency was qualified for the post.

Well, looking at it pragmatically, if this man has political aspirations, it would probably be cheaper and easier to get elected to an office in Paulding than in Cobb.

Nobody hired me or asked me to do this. I have done it on my own free will and have had others help me gather info.
This whole thing came about from a conversation with my cousin, who lives near Mr. Crist, in Cobb County. I mentioned that he was running for the school board and my cousin stated that he was sure that he still lived in Cobb. It got my curiosity up and the more I looked, the fishier it got.
I have no axe to grind with Mr. Crist. He would probably make a good board member in his own school district. I just believe that we, as voters, should not be taken for a ride. I did not take this task lightly and put forth due diligence. If the board finds that my overwhelming evidence is not sufficient, then the election will move forward as it stands.
I would have done this for ANY race that would have a similar situation. I hope that everyone can accept this stance.

B. Should I inform Mr.Crist that he is being stalked?
Since he does not frequent Pcom I feel the need to inform him of your investigation.
Ron Crist has financially supported our schools for years on his own.
Imagine what he would do for them once he is elected.
He will fight for the children of Paulding, therefore I will support Ron Crist.
It is sad that someone is willing to tear this man who supports our schools down.
Whoever is paying for this investigation could use the funds better to put them towards supporting our Children.
