Does anyone know an individual that works on TV's for a reasonable price? My son has a Samsung flat screen and the speakers have gone out.

From what I've been told flat screens can't be fixed any cheaper than buying a new one. Your best bet is to get surround sound for it.

I would agree with Kim. You can get a nice 3 piece system for only $20. PM me if you want any details. And it would sound many times better than the built in monitor stuff.

In the past month or so we have had 2 flat screen tvs repaired. The first tv was around $200.00, don't remember exact amt. and we had one fixed today and it cost $245.00.
The company that fixed them is Express TV & Electronics Repair 770-966-5212 my husband says they charge $35 to look at the TV.

I am so glad they were able to be fixed because looking at the size we would want to replace them we were looking at least $1200.00

I've got a pretty large plasma TV, but I still don't like the sound compared to jacking the audio into my surround system. Of course, I'm also half deaf from playing music all my life. I just like to have that really good movie sound thing going...but that's just me.
